Transpozon
DNA sentezi ve transpoz içeren bir mekanizma tarafından genomun içinde hareket eden uzun bir mobil DNA elemanı. Kromozomlar üzerinde rastlantısal olarak sıçrayabilen ve yer değiştirebilen yapılar. Genetik çeşitliliğe büyük katkı sağlarlar.
