Mari Gonzalez Explores Abu Dhabi Mosque With Family

The influencer shares cultural experiences while traveling with her boyfriend and in-laws.

On April 6, 2025, Brazilian influencer and former Big Brother Brasil contestant Mari Gonzalez, 31, shared a series of photos from her visit to the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi, accompanied by her boyfriend, Pipo Marques, 30, and her in-laws, Bell Marques, 72, and Ana, 53. The family outing also included Mari's brother-in-law, Rafa Marques, 36, and sister-in-law, Pati Guerra, 30.

The Sheikh Zayed Mosque, known for its stunning architecture and grandeur, requires women to dress modestly, which prompted the family to don traditional attire during their visit. "At the mosque in Abu Dhabi, women are required to cover their heads and wear clothes that cover their arms and legs, so we decided to wear the traditional clothing here. The grandeur and beauty of the mosque are very impressive; it was definitely worth visiting," Mari explained in her social media post.

In the comments section, fans expressed admiration for the family and the beautiful location. Comments like "What a perfect place" and "You all look beautiful, no matter where you are!" flooded in, showcasing the positive energy and support from her followers.

In recent weeks, Mari has been exploring various tourist destinations with Pipo's family. Just a week prior to their visit to Abu Dhabi, they were enjoying a getaway in Singapore, where they relaxed by an infinity pool. Before that, the couple and their family members traveled to Thailand, where Mari fulfilled a dream of seeing and interacting with elephants. "You can tell by my smile how emotional that day was; I can't pretend it's just another day! What a unique and special moment," she shared.

Last year, Mari also delighted her followers by organizing a surprise birthday dinner for her father-in-law, Bell Marques, in Miami, ahead of his 72nd birthday on September 5. The heartfelt gesture highlighted the close-knit family dynamic that Mari shares with Pipo's family.

The family’s travels haven’t been without concern. On March 28, 2025, Rafa Marques reassured fans after a powerful earthquake struck Thailand, where they were vacationing. The tremor, measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale, affected the region of Manmar, causing structural damage and casualties. However, Rafa updated followers that they were safe, stating, "We’re fine, everyone! We’re receiving many messages about the earthquake in Bangkok, but here, thank God, we didn’t feel any tremors," alongside a family photo.

Pati Guerra, Rafa's wife, echoed his sentiments, confirming their safety and expressing gratitude for their well-being during the natural disaster. The earthquake’s impact was felt widely, even reaching into China.

As Mari continues her journey, she is not only capturing beautiful moments with her family but also sharing the cultural experiences that come with traveling to new places. Her recent visit to the Sheikh Zayed Mosque stands as a testament to the blend of personal joy and cultural respect that her travels embody.

The Sheikh Zayed Mosque, named after the founder of the United Arab Emirates, is one of the largest mosques in the world and is renowned for its stunning white marble domes and intricate Islamic art.
