UP Board Prepares To Announce Class 10 And 12 Results

Students eagerly await results as UPMSP clears up misinformation about announcement dates

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is gearing up to announce the results of the Class 10 and 12 board examinations, following the completion of the evaluation process. Students across the state are anxiously awaiting their results, which are expected to be released soon. The UP Board conducted the Class 12 examinations from February 24 to March 12, 2025, and the evaluation of answer sheets took place from March 19 to April 2, 2025.

Despite ongoing speculation, the board has clarified that reports claiming the results will be announced on April 15, 2025, at 2 PM are false. In an official notice, the UPMSP stated, "Some individuals are spreading misleading information regarding the announcement of the High School and Intermediate exam results. The actual date and time will be released on our official websites at the appropriate time." This statement has put to rest the confusion surrounding the result announcement date.

As of now, approximately 54.38 lakh students participated in the UP Board exams, with 27.40 lakh students in Class 10 and 26.98 lakh in Class 12. The anticipation is palpable, as many students are eager to know their performance after months of preparation.

In terms of past trends, the UP Board has seen fluctuations in pass percentages over the years. For instance, in 2021, the pass percentage soared to 97.88% due to internal assessments during the pandemic. However, this figure dropped to 75.52% in 2023, before recovering slightly to 82.60% in 2024. Notably, girls have consistently outperformed boys, with 88.42% of girls passing in 2024 compared to 77.78% of boys.

With the evaluation process now complete, the UP Board is expected to issue a notification regarding the result dates shortly after April 15, 2025. This notification will provide essential details, including the overall pass percentage, gender-wise statistics, district-wise performance, and a list of top scorers.

Students can check their results on the official UP Board websites, www.upmsp.edu.in and www.upmspresults.nic.in, once they are announced. To access their results, students will need to enter their roll number and other required details. The board has also made provisions for students who wish to contest their marks, allowing them to apply for re-evaluation by filling out a form and paying the necessary fees.

In the meantime, the UPMSP has implemented strict measures to ensure the integrity of the evaluation process. Over 1.5 lakh teachers have been appointed to oversee the checking of answer sheets at more than 260 centers across the state. These centers are equipped with CCTV cameras and voice recorders to prevent any malpractice during the evaluation.

As the UP Board prepares for the upcoming result announcement, students and parents alike are encouraged to stay updated through official channels. The board has emphasized that any unofficial sources of information should be approached with caution, as they may not provide accurate details.

In summary, the UP Board is on track to release the Class 10 and 12 results, with students eagerly awaiting the outcome of their hard work. The board's commitment to transparency and fairness in the evaluation process is evident, as they strive to uphold the integrity of the examination system.

Students are reminded to keep an eye on the official UP Board websites for the most accurate and timely updates regarding their results. With the examination season now behind them, the focus shifts to celebrating achievements and planning for the next steps in their educational journeys.
