UP Board Class 10 And 12 Results Expected Soon

Students eagerly await results as UPMSP prepares for announcement

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is gearing up to announce the results for the Class 10 and 12 board examinations, with expectations of a release date as early as April 24, 2025. This year, approximately 25.56 lakh students appeared for the High School (Class 10) exams, while around 25.77 lakh students took the Intermediate (Class 12) exams. The UP Board examinations were conducted from February 24 to March 12, 2025, across 8,140 centres in the state.

As anticipation builds, students and their families are eager to learn the results, which will be available on the official UPMSP websites: upmsp.edu.in and upresults.nic.in. In the previous year, the UP Board announced the Class 10 and 12 results on April 20, and many are hoping for a similar timeline this year.

However, UPMSP has yet to confirm the exact date for the announcement of the results. Recently, a fake notice circulated on social media claiming the results would be declared on April 15, but UPMSP has officially denied these claims, stating that the information is completely false and misleading.

In 2024, the overall pass percentage for Class 10 was recorded at 89.55%, while Class 12 saw a pass rate of 82.60%. This trend of high pass rates has continued in recent years, with girls consistently outperforming boys. In 2024, girls achieved a pass percentage of 93.40% in Class 10, compared to 86.05% for boys, marking a significant lead of 7.35%.

With the results expected soon, students are advised to keep their login credentials ready. To check their results, they will need to enter their roll number and other required details. Keeping the admit card handy will help avoid delays once the results are published.

For those who may not have internet access, results can also be obtained via SMS. Students can type "UP10" followed by their roll number for Class 10 results or "UP12" followed by their roll number for Class 12 results and send it to 56263.

After the results are announced, students who believe there is an error in their marks can apply for a re-evaluation or scrutiny, which typically incurs a fee of around Rs 500 per subject. Additionally, for students who do not pass in one or more subjects, the UPMSP conducts compartment exams usually held in July, providing them another opportunity to improve their scores.

The UP Board has also warned students and parents to be cautious of scams. Some individuals have been making false promises to enhance exam scores for a fee. UPMSP has reiterated that they do not support any unethical practices and urged students to report any such incidents.

As the countdown continues for the UP Board results, students are encouraged to stay updated through the official UPMSP website and other reliable sources. The board will also release statistics including the total number of students registered, appeared, passed, and the overall pass percentage during the results announcement.

In the 2024 results, Shubham Verma topped Class 12 with an impressive score of 489 out of 500, achieving a remarkable 97.80%. Other high scorers included Vishu Chaudhary, Kajal Singh, Raj Verma, Kashish Maurya, Charli Gupta, Sujata Pandey, Sheetal Verma, and Aditya Kumar Yadav, all of whom scored above 97%.

For the Class 10 exams, Prachi Nigam secured the top rank in 2024 with 591 marks, followed closely by Deepika Sonkar with 590 marks and others who scored 588 marks.

Students can also access their results via the DigiLocker app, which provides a secure platform for storing and sharing educational documents. To use DigiLocker, students need to log in with their registered mobile number and security PIN, or sign up if they are new users.

As the UPMSP prepares for the results announcement, the board remains one of the largest education boards in India, with a significant number of students participating in the exams each year. The UP Board's commitment to transparency and fair assessment continues to be a priority, as seen in their strict protocols for the evaluation of answer sheets.

With the results just around the corner, students are reminded to remain calm and focused. The UP Board will also release the merit lists and names of the toppers during the announcement, adding to the excitement of the day.

In summary, the UP Board results for Class 10 and 12 are highly anticipated, with a strong emphasis on the performance of female students, who have consistently outperformed their male counterparts in recent years. As the date approaches, students are encouraged to stay informed and prepared for the announcement.
