On April 25, 2025, the city will host the '2025 One Million Hwaseong Job Fair' at Dongtan Central Park. The job fair will also feature a collaborative effort from five organizations, including the Gyeonggi Job Foundation, Hwaseong Employment Welfare Plus Center, Hwaseong City Labor-Management Council, Hwaseong Small Business Support Center, and Korea Polytechnic University Hwaseong Campus. These organizations will provide valuable employment information and resources to attendees.
Among the services offered at the fair will be resume and self-introduction consulting, personalized recruitment manager counseling, information on the national employment support system, predisaster psychological testing, and professional technology education courses. This comprehensive approach aims to equip job seekers with the tools they need to succeed in their job search.
Importantly, job seekers can attend the event without prior registration, simply by bringing their resumes. This open-door policy encourages broad participation, making it easier for individuals to explore job opportunities.

On April 19, 2025, the Hwaseong Special City Council participated in the '16th Beautiful Hwaseong Eco-Friendly Bicycle March' at Dongtan Central Park. Furthermore, from April 19 to 20, 2025, the Hwaseong Special City Council also took part in the '2025 Korea-Thailand Women's Volleyball All-Star Super Match' held at the Hwaseong General Sports Town Indoor Gymnasium. This international sports event showcased fierce competition and cultural performances, featuring teams from Korea and Thailand.
The Super Match was co-hosted by the Hwaseong Special City Sports Association, the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO), and KBSN, with sponsorship from various local and national organizations. Bae Jeong-soo and other council members greeted the crowd of around 5,000 attendees, underscoring the event's role in strengthening ties between Korea and Thailand.
In addition to sports, the council participated in the '2025 Hwaseong Special City Lantern Music Festival' on April 19, 2025, at Jeongjo Hyo Park.
