Toyo University Hosts Media Design Graduation Works Exhibition 2025

The exhibition showcases innovative student projects at Miraikan over the weekend.

Toyo University is set to showcase the future of media design during its 'Media Design Graduation Works Exhibition 2025' from March 8 to March 9, 2025, at the Miraikan (National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation) located in Tokyo. This event, which promises to be both informative and inspiring, will feature over 20 innovative projects created by students and faculty, focusing on the role of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in enhancing communication within our increasingly global society.

The Faculty of Information Sciences and Arts is dedicated to exploring how technological advancements can facilitate more effective communication strategies, and this exhibition is the culmination of their efforts. Professor Mitsutoshi Tada, who is also marking his retirement, will have special works on display, underscoring his significant contributions to the field over the years.

The exhibition's schedule is as follows: on March 8, it will be open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and on March 9, visitors can attend from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Accessing the venue is easy via the Yurikamome Line. Attendees can get off at the 'Tokyo International Cruise Terminal Station,' which is about a five-minute walk from the museum. Alternatively, it's just four minutes from 'Telecom Center Station' and can also be reached by walking 15 minutes from 'Tokyo Teleport Station' on the Rinkai Line. This year's exhibition includes noteworthy themes such as 'App for Food Image Recognition - Application of API for Food Image Recognition', 'Development of a Motivation Support Application', 'Development of a Game to Analyze the Suitability of the Game', and 'Video Production with Generative AI'. These topics exemplify the cutting-edge approaches students are employing to solve real-world challenges through media design.
