The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition Cast Announced

Melissa Leong and a star-studded lineup prepare to race for charity in the thrilling new season.

The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition 2025 has officially unveiled its exciting cast, featuring a mix of celebrities ready to compete for charity!

Among them is Melissa Leong, known for her role as a judge on MasterChef Australia from 2020 to 2023, who will be teaming up with her best friend Leah Wilson.

The star-studded cast was revealed on March 19, 2025, and includes 13 teams competing for a grand prize of $100,000 that they will donate to their chosen charities.

Beau Ryan returns as the host of the show, bringing his energetic charisma to the competition as it unfolds globally.

Joining Melissa and Leah are a variety of well-known personalities, such as Ant Middleton from SAS Australia, who will compete alongside his brother Dan. Aesha Scott, renowned for her role as chief stew on Below Deck and for participating in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, is set to race with her fiancé Scott Dobson. Comedian and radio host Brendan ‘Fev’ Fevola will be accompanied by his 18-year-old daughter Leni.

Another notable duo in the lineup is Gretel Killeen, the original host of Big Brother Australia, who will be racing with her daughter Epiphany Mason. The pair aims to create buzz leading up to the reboot of Big Brother, which is set to premiere later this year under the guidance of Mel Tracina.

The Amazing Race Australia 2025 cast also includes several other exciting teams: professional swimmers and Olympians Bronte Campbell and her fiancé Benfield Lainchbury, comedic siblings Luke and 'Sassy' Scott O’Halloran, and married couple Ed Kavalee and Tiffiny Hall.

Fans have shared mixed reactions on social media since the reveal, with many questioning the choice of celebrities. Comments on various platforms included remarks like, “Who are half of these so-called celebrities?” and “Not one celebrity in sight honey”. Despite this, some fans expressed enthusiasm for the engaging duo of Luke and his brother, Sassy Scott, noting that they are likely to provide much comic relief during the race.

With filming officially starting around March 17, the over-eager audience would have to wait a few months to see the thrilling race unfold on television. Previous seasons indicated that after filming in May, the show could return as soon as late September this year, or perhaps earlier.

This season promises not only competition but also a chance for its participants to share significant financial prizes with charities close to their hearts.

The enthusiasm is palpable as fans prepare for a season of adrenaline, laughter, and the race of a lifetime!
