Stefan Raab And Bully Herbig Face Off Against ProSieben On Prime Time

The return of classic TV duos brings high stakes and eager competitors this Saturday.

Stefan Raab and Michael "Bully" Herbig, two prominent figures in the German entertainment industry, are set to return to television screens this Saturday, March 15, 2025. The duo will launch the second episode of their game show "Stefan und Bully gegen irgendson Schnulli" at 20:15 on RTL. This new show promises to deliver blend of fun, competition, and high stakes with the potential to win big prizes.

On this same night, another challenge show, "Schlag den Star," will be airing on ProSieben, leading to what could become a ratings showdown between the two shows. Just weeks ago, ProSieben had avoided confrontation with Raab's latest venture, creating anticipation for this evening's programming.

Since Wednesday, February 12, 2025, viewers have been able to catch Raab's previous game show, "Du gewinnst hier nicht die Million bei Stefan Raab," on free TV during prime time on RTL. This show, which airs alongside his new format, sparked unintentional competition with Raab's former ProSieben show, "TV total."
Yet, ProSieben chose to air the film "Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One" instead of engaging directly with Raab's program, indicating the significant impact Raab has had on the television field.

Back to Raab's new offering, "Stefan und Bully gegen irgendson Schnulli". The game show allows contestants to challenge the stars, with the chance to win up to 250,000 euros. This exciting format features various challenges, including outdoor games, quizzes, and skill competitions. Contestants face off against Raab and Herbig through twelve rounds of games, testing their mental and physical capabilities. Should Raab and Bully win the duel, the prize money remains untouched for the next episode, which would then offer contestants the chance to win 500,000 euros.

Hosting the show is Elton, the former presenter of "Schlag den Star," alongside sports commentator Frank "Buschi" Buschmann, who will provide the thrilling commentary throughout the game.

Meanwhile, ProSieben's "Schlag den Star" will feature another exciting pairing. This week, popular YouTuber Jens "Knossi" Knossalla and his partner Lia Mitrou will go head-to-head with soccer star Max Kruse and his wife Dilara Kruse, battling for 100,000 euros. Similar to Raab's show, the contestant couples will demonstrate both physical prowess and intellectual sharpness through various games, as Matthias Opdenhövel takes over as host.

Looking back at the ratings, Raab's initial episode of "Stefan und Bully gegen irgendson Schnulli," which aired on December 21, 2024, attracted around 1.9 million viewers, garnering an impressive 18.8 percent market share among the younger demographic. This solid viewership displayed Raab's ability to pull audiences, even after moving on from his former shows.

On the flip side, the most recent episode of "Schlag den Star," aired on February 15, 2025, attracted 1.19 million viewers, with just 0.46 million of those from the coveted 14- to 49-year-age group, resulting in only an 11.6 percent market share. This discrepancy highlights the different trajectories both shows are currently on.

With both programs vying for audience attention this Saturday, March 15, it remains to be seen who will emerge victorious, Stefan Raab or his counterparts at ProSieben. Viewers can expect excitement, friendly competition, and perhaps some surprises along the way as the two giants of German television try to capture the loyalty of viewers during prime time.
