SpaceX Prepares For Historic Fram2 Mission Over Earth's Poles

The crew consists of Wang, who will serve as the mission commander, along with filmmaker Jannicke Mikkelsen as the vehicle commander, Rabea Rogge as the pilot, and Eric Philips fulfilling the role of mission specialist and medical officer. These four individuals, having completed rigorous training at SpaceX’s facility in Hawthorne, California, are currently in quarantine at Cape Canaveral preparing for their historic launch.

Scheduled for late March 2025, the Fram2 mission will be the first crewed mission to fly directly over both the North and South Poles, a trajectory that has not been explored by any previous human spaceflight.
