Wiktor Dyduła Shines In 'Must Be The Music' Semi-Final

The second semi-final featured emotional performances and a special guest appearance by Wiktor Dyduła.

On Friday, May 9, 2025, the popular talent show 'Must Be The Music' returned to Polsat for its second semi-final episode, showcasing a night filled with emotional performances and thrilling moments. Among the highlights was the special guest performance by Wiktor Dyduła, a rising star in the Polish music scene, who captivated the audience with his hit song 'Tam słońce gdzie my' and a duet with Kasia Sienkiewicz from the band Kwiat Jabłoni.

Wiktor Dyduła, born on June 20, 1997, in Gdańsk, has quickly made a name for himself in the music industry. His journey began in 2017 when he participated in the Polsat program 'Idol,' where he gained significant recognition. He later secured fourth place in the TVP show 'The Voice of Poland' and signed a contract with Polydor Records. His music video for 'Tam słońce, gdzie my' has garnered over 22 million views on YouTube, solidifying his status as one of the most recognizable artists of his generation.

In the second semi-final, Dyduła performed two songs, including the duet 'Nie mówię tak, nie mówię nie,' alongside Sienkiewicz, who is also known for her work with Kwiat Jabłoni. This collaboration added a unique flavor to the evening, showcasing the synergy between the two talented artists.

The competition was fierce, with eight performers vying for a spot in the Grand Final scheduled for May 16, 2025. The contestants included Ania Szlagowska, Gracjana Górka, Alien x Majtis, Marek Niedzielski, Roland Bilicki & Gypsy Kings, Weronika Ryba, PoPieronie & Grupa Śpiewacza Poliana, and Bonaventura. Each of these artists brought their unique style and flair to the stage, hoping to impress the jury and the voting audience.

The jury for 'Must Be The Music' 2025 comprises notable figures in the music industry, including Dawid Kwiatkowski, Miuosh, Natalia Szroeder, and Sebastian Karpiel-Bułecka. They evaluated performances not only on vocal quality but also on originality and emotional impact. The previous week, in the first semi-final, contestants Dawida Dubajka, Helena Ciuraba, Zosia Karbowiak i Miód, and Kuba i Kuba advanced to the final.

During the second semi-final, the jury witnessed a range of performances that elicited strong reactions. Gracjana Górka, an eleven-year-old vocalist and violinist from Lublin, performed 'All By Myself,' showcasing her immense talent and emotional depth. Her performance moved the jury, with Karpiel-Bułecka stating, "You are a phenomenon. You have an extraordinary gift and use it wonderfully." All four jury members voted positively for her.

Another standout was Ania Szlagowska from Nowy Sącz, who performed her original song 'Timothee.' Having released her debut album in the fall of 2024, Szlagowska's performance demonstrated her growth as an artist. Karpiel-Bułecka praised her, saying, "You are ready as an artist. You sing excellently and move well on stage. However, please don't forget your roots in your songs." Despite one negative vote from Miuosh, the jury largely recognized her potential.

Alien x Majtis, a duo combining rap and electronic music, performed 'Tajfun,' which resonated well with the audience, though Miuosh was not impressed. Natalia Szroeder remarked on their authenticity, stating, "You are wonderful, absolutely sincere, and true. I adore you." Their unique style continues to gain traction among fans.

Weronika Ryba, who has overcome personal challenges, performed 'Dla Mamy,' a heartfelt tribute that brought the jury to tears. Szroeder expressed her admiration, saying, "I can't put into words how moving your performance was. You have a unique ability to build emotions, and I thank you for that." All the judges unanimously voted for her to advance.

Despite the high level of talent displayed, not all performers received the same level of acclaim. The band Walimy w Kocioł, who had received a wild card, performed 'Amazing Grace' but faced criticism from the jury. Miuosh commented, "While you do wonderful things, there are others who deserve it more than you," leading to their elimination from the competition.

Ultimately, the finalists who secured their spots in the Grand Final were Bonaventura, Gracjana Górka, Alien x Majtis, and Weronika Ryba. Viewers expressed satisfaction with the results, with many taking to social media to praise the higher level of performances compared to the previous week. Comments highlighted a renewed faith in good music, with one fan stating, "Finally, music triumphed over mere popularity."

The excitement continues to build as the Grand Final approaches, with fans eagerly anticipating who will take home the title. 'Must Be The Music' airs live on May 16, 2025, at 7:55 PM on Polsat, promising another night of unforgettable performances and emotional moments.
