A serious traffic accident occurred in Fanling early this morning, March 26, 2025, around 1:00 AM, involving a Mercedes-Benz electric private car. The vehicle was traveling along Pak Wo Road towards Ma On Shan Road when it suddenly lost control near the slip road of Fanling Highway.
Eyewitnesses reported that the Mercedes-Benz crashed into a central divider before colliding with a road sign. The impact was severe, leading to significant damage to the front of the car, and the airbags deployed as a safety measure. The driver, a 49-year-old man surnamed Wong, was injured and trapped inside the wreckage.
