Saudi Citizen Account Program Disburses Over 3 Billion Riyals

March 2025 installment supports nearly 9.8 million qualifying beneficiaries.

More than 3 billion riyals have been deposited as support for Saudi citizens through the citizen account program for March 2025, benefiting around 9.8 million individuals.

This notable release follows the program's objective to lighten the economic burdens faced by lower and middle-income families. The average support provided for each family during this installment reached 1,473 riyals.

Launched back in December 2017, the citizen account program was established to assist families with economic realities they face due to various policies and expansions occurring within the Kingdom. The program aims to buffer families against risks associated with socio-economic shifts and provide financial relief.

To qualify for support, applicants must meet several eligibility criteria, including:

  • Being of Saudi nationality, with exceptions for the children of Saudi citizens and non-Saudi spouses.

  • Permanently residing within Saudi Arabia, not outside for more than 90 days within the last 12 months.

  • Ensuring the data complies with the criteria set by the relevant authorities, considering family size, income, and other specified demographics.

The process to enroll involves several simple steps:

  1. Visiting the official citizen account website.

  2. Creating a new account by entering required information such as ID number, date of birth, and mobile number.

  3. Receiving and logging the provided verification message.

  4. Filling out the registration application by providing general information, familial data, and income disclosure.

  5. Submitting any additional documents if requested by the program.

  6. Reviewing and confirming the provided information.

Despite the positive support structure, some families may experience reduced funding due to various reasons:

  • A change or increase in household income, reducing their support eligibility.

  • Shifts within family composition, where additional members can reflect on support calculations.

  • Failure to keep beneficiary data updated, potentially leading to discrepancies.

  • Errors arising from misaligned submitted data versus official records, which can alter support amounts.

To communicate with the citizen account program for complaints or inquiries, beneficiaries can choose from several channels:

  • Call the unified contact number 19912 from Sunday to Thursday, between 8 AM and 10 PM.

  • Access the official website to submit any complaints or suggestions via the “Your Voice is Heard” service.

  • Engage through the official citizen account’s service account on X (formerly Twitter).

  • Utilize the citizen account application available on smartphones for easy management of their information.

Beneficiaries are encouraged to regularly update their information to maintain their support eligibility and effectively optimize the financial assistance they receive.
