RPF Constable Exam 2025 City Intimation Slips Released

Candidates can now check their exam cities and timings through the RRB regional websites before the March examination.

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has officially released the city intimation slips for candidates of the RPF Constable Exam 2025, marking a significant step for those preparing for the upcoming tests. The slips can be accessed through the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) regional websites as candidates gear up for the examination, which is scheduled to take place from March 2 to March 20, 2025.

According to the RRB, the city intimation slip serves as important guidance, providing candidates with the details about their assigned exam city and the timing for their respective shifts. Since the exam necessitates significant preparation and planning, this advance notification helps candidates manage their travel and logistics effectively.

“The city slip is not to be confused with the admit card,” emphasized RRB officials, clarifying its purpose. While the intimation slip informs candidates of where they will be tested, the actual admit card—which contains details like venue, roll number, and more—will be available later. The admit cards are expected to be released about four days prior to the examination date, adding another layer of information needed for candidates.

To download their city slip, candidates must visit the official RRB portal at rrbapply.gov.in. They will need to log in using their registration number and date of birth to access the slip. Upon logging in, candidates can view and download their city slip, which is necessary to finalize their exam preparations. This process ensures orderly arrangements for the large number of candidates expected to participate.

The exam is being conducted to fill 4,208 constable vacancies within the RPF, of which 15% are reserved for female candidates. With both male and female candidates eligible, the recruitment drive has drawn significant interest, reflecting the competitive nature of securing these positions.

Candidates should also be aware of the exam format: it will be held online as part of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) method. They will have 90 minutes to answer 120 questions, and each question carries one mark. There is also a negative marking scheme where 0.33 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer, maintaining the integrity of the assessment.

Following the CBT, successful candidates will advance to subsequent rounds, including the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and document verification (DV) processes. Each stage is geared toward verifying the candidates' fitness and qualifications for the role they are vying for.

For those preparing for the exam, here’s how to download the city slip:

  • Step 1: Visit the official RRB website.

  • Step 2: Click on the link labeled "RPF Constable Exam City Slip".

  • Step 3: Enter your required login credentials, including your registration number and date of birth.

  • Step 4: View and download your city slip for verification.

  • Step 5: Safeguard this information for future reference.

With the city slip now available, candidates are urged to plan their journeys to their respective exam cities efficiently, ensuring they arrive well before the start times on the examination days. The anticipation builds as RPF remains firmly committed to facilitating this recruitment drive, emphasizing fairness and transparency throughout the process.

The Railway Recruitment Board will also keep candidates updated on the progress of the recruitment process through their official communication channels. They encourage candidates to regularly check for any updates, especially on admit card release dates and additional information pertinent to their examination schedules.
