Reading And Leeds Festival 2025 Expands Lineup With 30 New Acts

Festival announces exciting additions including Limp Bizkit and D-Block Europe for the August celebration.

The 2025 Reading and Leeds Festival is shaping up to be one of the most exciting music events of the year, with organizers announcing the addition of over 30 new acts to its star-studded lineup. The festival will take place from August 21 to 24, 2025, spread across its iconic sites at Richfield Avenue in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds. Headliners for the event include rising pop star Chappell Roan, Grammy-nominated artist Hozier, chart-topping rapper Travis Scott, and the dynamic rock group Bring Me The Horizon.

Travis Scott’s participation marks his first European headline appearance, and Chappell Roan is set to make her official debut headlining at an English festival. Meanwhile, Hozier and Bring Me The Horizon will also deliver their only festival performances within the UK for 2025. Melvin Benn, Managing Director of Festival Republic, expressed excitement about this year’s lineup, stating, “Right now, we’re witnessing an exciting wave of inspiring voices breaking through in pop culture, and this lineup captures the energy perfectly.”

The latest additions include iconic American nu-metal band Limp Bizkit, who will take to the main stage just before Bring Me The Horizon's headline performance. Joining them are the UK rap collective D-Block Europe, fresh off the success of their latest projects, as well as the indie pop sensations Nell Mescal and Jazzy, among others. The lineup also features Bakar, Good Neighbours, Example, and many more, aiming to maintain the festival’s tradition of showcasing diverse genres, including rock, punk, and rap.

Earlier this year, the festival had confirmed its first wave of artists, creating much buzz when it revealed Chappell Roan, Travis Scott, and the long-anticipated return of Bring Me The Horizon as headliners. This festival not only celebrates established acts but also provides a platform for newer artists, capturing the essence of live music culture.

The newly expanded lineup promises to potentially exceed what was set last year, which included popular acts like Liam Gallagher, Fred Again, and Lana Del Rey. During the 2024 event, festival organizers had to apologize after technical issues cut Lana Del Rey’s set short, resulting in some fans leaving disappointed. The organizers have since recommitted to ensuring such problems do not arise this year.

Notably, the festival continues to adapt and evolve, including introducing more performers with young, vibrant talent to appeal to modern audiences. The extensive list of newly added names was shared via the festival’s social media accounts, urging fans to secure their tickets as early as December 9, when both weekend and day tickets will go on sale. Presale opportunities will begin on December 6 and 7, respectively.

The excitement surrounding the festival lineup is palpable, with various genres represented, assuring something for every music lover. Whether it's the heavy riffs of Limp Bizkit, the catchy hooks of Example, or the melodic ballads of Hozier, attendees can expect memorable performances throughout the four-day event.

Benn highlights the significance of this year’s festival, saying, “This lineup and everything we’re introducing to the festival experience will define the years to come.” The diverse range of performers is set against the backdrop of Reading and Leeds traditional festival setting, ensuring fans can enjoy not only the established artists but also discovering fresh talent.

With excitement building, the 2025 Reading and Leeds Festival is defined by its commitment to showcasing both legendary acts and rising stars, emphasizing the ever-changing dynamics of the music industry. The announcement of these new acts is merely the latest reminder of the festival’s reputation as the busiest weekend on the UK festival calendar.

Festival goers are encouraged to stay updated on any additional acts set to join the lineup, as the organizers have noted more names will be released as the date approaches. With so many exciting performances slated, the 2025 Reading and Leeds Festival is shaping up to be not just another music event, but rather a celebration of the live music experience.
