The Evangelical Church C. A. in Romania - Brasov Parish is set to welcome music lovers to the 73rd edition of the Organ Nights summer season, alongside 15 extraordinary concerts at the Black Church, running from May 13 to October 18, 2025. The season will kick off with an opening concert titled "Lights and Shadows," which also marks the start of the International Chamber Music Festival. This inaugural event will feature the Chamber Orchestra of the Brasov Philharmonic, under the musical direction of Sebastian Tegzesiu, with soloist Steffen Schlandt.
The concert is scheduled for May 13, 2025, beginning at 19:00, and will showcase works by renowned composers including Arcangelo Corelli, Georg Friedrich Händel, Ralph Vaughan Williams, and Gustav Holst. Tickets for this concert are priced at 40 lei for all age categories and can be purchased from www.bilet.ro.
In addition to the opening concert, attendees can look forward to another 14 extraordinary performances featuring a diverse range of musical works for violin, organ, flute, lute, harp, cello, classical guitar, and choral performances. Tickets for the extraordinary concerts will be available for purchase one week prior to each event. They can be bought from the INSPIRATIO Gift Studio, located at Curtea Johannes Honterus no. 8 (opposite the Black Church), as well as online starting May 7, 2025, from the platform www.booktes.com. The price for these tickets will be 50 lei for all age categories, except for the concert featuring Johann Sebastian Bach's "Misa in B minor" on July 12, 2025, for which tickets will be sold at 100 lei, starting June 2, 2025.
During the Organ Nights festival, audiences will enjoy organ concerts performed by artists from Romania, Germany, the USA, Hungary, France, Austria, and the Netherlands. A total of 21 concerts will take place every Saturday at 18:00, from May 24 to October 18, 2025, with the exception of July 12, when the Bach concert will occur.
The cost of a ticket for the Organ Nights is set at 30 lei, and children under 18 will continue to enjoy free admission. Tickets can be purchased starting on the Monday of the week in which each concert is held, either from the ticket office located in the INSPIRATIO Gift Studio store or online from www.booktes.com starting May 7, 2025.
Additionally, patrons can opt for subscriptions priced at 80 lei for the Organ Nights festival, which will grant access to any five concerts within the season. These subscriptions can be purchased from the INSPIRATIO Gift Studio store.
