Set in the Isolated Sand Plains, players must hunt down a Kematrice to collect cooking ingredients, including the sought-after "Kunafa Cheese" and its richer variant. The quest requires players to be at least HR9 to participate, making it suitable for those who have progressed significantly within the game.
The second event quest, "Bumper Crop, Bird Up!" also launches on March 5 and runs until March 19, 2025. This quest takes players to the Verdant Forest, where they will hunt the Ian Kukkak to obtain the charming headgear titled "[Hanasoju α]." This quest also necessitates players to have achieved HR9 or higher.
These events are part of Capcom's effort to engage the community with timed content, echoing the formula used successfully in previous Monster Hunter titles, including "Monster Hunter: World," which featured similar limited-time quests scheduled and distributed over weeks.
These initial quests are only part of the upcoming plethora of event quests scheduled through early April. The final event quest within this season of excitement, "Sand Creeps, Midnight Firelight," will take place from March 19, 2025, at 9:00 AM until April 2, 2025, at 8:59 AM. Players will be tasked with hunting the Rio Leia for the special headgear "[Research Team's Earrings α]." Just like the previous quests, players need to be at least HR9 or higher to join.
Available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam), "Monster Hunter Wilds" has been released as of February 28, 2025.
