New Allegations Surface In Disha Salian Death Case

FIR filed against Aaditya Thackeray and others, calling for fresh investigation into mysterious death.

Mumbai: The Disha Salian death case has taken a dramatic turn with the filing of an FIR by her father, Satish Salian, leading to new allegations against several high-profile individuals. On March 25, 2025, Salian, accompanied by his lawyer Nilesh Ojha, lodged a formal complaint with the Mumbai Police, which has now been registered as an FIR. The complaint names prominent figures such as Aaditya Thackeray, Dino Morea, Suraj Pancholi, and former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh, among others, as accused in the case.

According to Ojha, Parambir Singh is accused of being the central figure behind an alleged cover-up in Disha's death. “Parambir Singh was the main mastermind behind the cover-up. He conducted a press conference and fabricated lies to protect Aaditya Thackeray,” stated Ojha, emphasizing the serious nature of the allegations.

Ojha highlighted that the FIR also references findings from the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), suggesting Aaditya Thackeray’s involvement in drug-related activities. “All the details are in the FIR. NCB's investigation paper proves that Aaditya Thackeray was involved in a drug business, and that detail has been mentioned in this FIR,” he added.

Disha Salian was a talent manager who fell to her death from a high-rise building in Malad, Mumbai, on June 8, 2020. Just days later, on June 14, 2020, Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his apartment, a sequence of events that has fueled rampant speculation and numerous conspiracy theories.

The timing of Disha's death, a mere week before Rajput's, has prompted widespread discussion and demands for further investigation into both cases by interested parties, including political figures and the media. In past court filings, Satish Salian has maintained that the circumstances surrounding his daughter’s death warrant a thorough inquiry and has called for the interrogation of those named in the complaint.

Previously, Satish Salian had submitted a petition to the Bombay High Court, requesting that the FIR against Thackeray and others be registered, emphasizing the need for justice for his daughter. On Saturday, the CBI filed a closure report regarding Rajput’s death, citing asphyxia as the cause of death. This report has seemingly added fuel to the fire, as concerns over a perceived lack of thoroughness in the investigations maintain pressure on relevant authorities.

The Bombay High Court is set to hear the case regarding Disha Salian on April 2, 2025, providing a platform for the latest developments to unfold. Advocacy for performance accountability continues as community voices call for action and clarity in the ongoing investigations. The alleged involvement of influential personalities in these cases only serves to heighten public scrutiny and concern.

Ojha, representing Disha's father, vehemently denies any clean chit being offered in this matter, asserting that “no clean chit has been given. People are running a false narrative.” He stressed that the closure report filed by CBI has no legal binding that can prevent the court from recognizing the murder allegations and ordering further inquiry.

As the public waits for the upcoming hearings, the implications of these revelations promise to resurface past controversies surrounding both Disha Salian and Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely deaths. These cases have not only captured the imagination of the media but also raised questions about the integrity of the investigative processes and the intersections of power, celebrity, and justice in India.

The events surrounding Disha Salian’s death continue to be a contentious topic, calling into question not only the deaths of these two prominent figures in Bollywood but also the broader issues of accountability and the influence of powerful individuals in high-stakes investigations. With ongoing legal actions and public interest sustained, the path forward for justice remains uncertain yet critical.
