I didn’t have lunch today, I only ate a banana, there was some pressure so I didn’t feel hungry. The captain, Hardik bhai, told me to bowl it into the wicket and back my skills. Everyone back in my village will be watching me play, and I’m very happy."
In response, MI's batting lineup appeared determined to make quick work of the chase. Ryan Rickelton, who opened the innings, played a pivotal role, scoring an impressive 62 not out off just 41 balls, including four boundaries and five sixes. His innings was characterized by aggressive stroke play, putting the pressure back on KKR's bowlers.
