Medina Celebrations Project Enhances Transport For Ramadan

The Medina Development Authority has launched an essential initiative to enhance public transportation services in Medina, coinciding with the last ten days of Ramadan. The project, known as "Medina Celebrations," officially began on March 20, 2025, and aims to facilitate easy access for both citizens and residents traveling to the Prophet's Mosque and Quba Mosque during this significant time.

The newly extended transportation services will operate from 3 PM until half an hour after the Qiyam prayer, providing extensive coverage throughout the city with a total of seven designated locations. During this period, the shuttle service will cater directly to places of worship, significantly easing the logistics for worshippers in the city. Additionally, the parking site at Al-Aliyah Mall has been allocated for shuttling beneficiaries to Quba Mosque.
