Major Changes Coming To Bachelor In Paradise Season 10

New showrunner Scott Teti promises fresh direction as excitement builds for the upcoming season.

"Bachelor in Paradise" will be back for season 10 later in 2025, but it will not be the same show fans have watched in the past. Change is in the air, and fans will be eager to see how this impacts the franchise spinoff.

A New Showrunner Is on the Way

On January 24, Deadline reported, the franchise is bringing in a new showrunner for season 10. Their sources indicate the franchise has tapped Scott Teti to step onto the role. Teti has been the executive producer on several other reality television shows. Deadline noted he has worked on "Claim to Fame" for ABC and some of the "Married at First Sight" spinoff shows. He also has experience with "Summer House" on Bravo.

According to Teti’s IMDb page, he was also an executive producer on shows including "DeMarcus Family Rules," "Winter House," "Dating Naked," "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars," and more. ABC did not air "Bachelor in Paradise" in 2024, instead, "The Golden Bachelorette" with Joan Vassos aired after Jenn Tran’s season of "The Bachelorette." Though there has been no formal announcement about the second season of "The Golden Bachelor," ABC previously confirmed the return of "Bachelor in Paradise."

Host Jesse Palmer Teased Changes Ahead

Show host Jesse Palmer previously alluded to changes on the horizon for the series when it returns. He told Swooon he is “excited” for season 10. "I am expecting some changes. I don’t know what those changes are going to necessarily be. I certainly have my own hopes what it might be, but I’m just really excited to get back to the beach personally, and to see our lovely cast, and to hopefully see some people fall in love and get engaged," Palmer told the media outlet. He admitted, "I missed doing it this past year, so I can’t wait." Palmer indicated he didn’t know “exactly” what changes were in store for the show.

Fans took to “The Bachelor” subreddit to share their thoughts on the showrunner news, reflecting excitement and skepticism. One Reddit user wrote, "I could see this new direction being successful if done right!" Another commented, "Good. This show has been stale as hell. All they need to do is take a little bit of the love island route, and the drama will create itself." A third user expressed hope, saying, "I’m looking forward to him saving this series."

With new leadership and the anticipation of fresh ideas, viewers are left wondering how much the dynamics on the beach might shift, paving the way for romances and drama. Fans are eager to see how Teti's background and industry experience could play out on screen and rejuvenate the format from what it had become. The waiting game has begun as the franchise gears up for its return, and viewers everywhere are tuning their excitement to the upcoming season.
