Lynk & Go has officially launched its flagship SUV, the Lynk & Co 900, marking a significant entry into the competitive large SUV market. The company has already reported an impressive demand, with more than 8,200 pre-orders placed within the first hour of the pre-sale.
The Lynk & Co 900 measures 5,240 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,810 mm in height, with a generous wheelbase of 3,160 mm. This makes it the largest vehicle Lynk & Co has produced to date. With a curb weight ranging from 2,660 kg to 2,820 kg based on trim levels, the vehicle promises to deliver robust performance suitable for both urban and rugged terrains.
Equipped with advanced features, the Lynk & Co 900 uses cutting-edge technology to enhance driver experience and safety. The SUV boasts a unique front fascia with an interactive LED display made up of 10,192 lamp beads that can showcase custom animations and messages. Similarly, the rear features an interactive taillight made of 2,400 lamp beads, creating a cohesive design that attracts attention. This model is built on the SPA Evo architecture and is powered by the latest advanced driving assistance system, which incorporates a roof-mounted LiDAR system alongside a combination of 11 cameras, five millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic sensors, leveraged by NVIDIA's high-powered Orin-X or Thor chips.
The Lynk & Co 900 is offered with two engine configurations: a 1.5-liter turbo engine generating 140 kW (or 188 horsepower) and a more powerful 2.0-liter turbo engine that delivers 187 kW (or 251 horsepower). Depending on the trim level, the vehicle can accommodate either dual or triple motors, with some variants featuring a combined power output of up to 530 kW, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, significantly marking its competitive edge.
In terms of battery technology, the vehicle is available with dual ternary lithium battery packs, rated at 44.85 kWh and 52.38 kWh, which provide respective pure electric ranges of 220 km and between 268 km and 280 km based on the specific configuration. When completely charged, the Lynk & Co 900 offers a combined range of up to 1,443 kilometers, making it suitable for longer excursions without frequent stops for recharging. Notably, charging time from 20% to 80% can be achieved in just 17 minutes.
Luxury and comfort are also central to the Lynk & Co 900’s design. The interior offers a choice of three color themes: beige, orange, and black, aligning with different times of the day to enhance the driving experience. The vehicle includes high-quality materials such as Nappa leather along with metallic and suede fabrics throughout the cabin. Cutting-edge technology features include a 95-inch augmented reality heads-up display (AR-HUD), alongside a 30-inch 6K resolution central control screen powered by dual Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chips, allowing for seamless multitasking and entertainment.
Additionally, the cabin is designed for versatility and features an impressive amount of storage, with 42 compartments thoughtfully placed throughout the interior. It is also distinguished by innovative dual 180-degree rotating seats in the second row, which can rotate to either 180° or 90° for easier access and comfort, along with adjustable seating arrangements where the second row can slide up to 550 mm forward and backward and the third row can slide 125 mm.
As the Lynk & Co 900 prepares for its official launch at the end of April 2025, it positions itself strongly against competitors like the Aito M9, Li L9 from Li Auto, and the Denza N9. With its unique features, advanced performance capabilities, and considerable range, Lynk & Co hopes to establish a firm foothold in the crowded large SUV segment.
