The plane due to arrive from Kazan, which should have landed at 12:40 PM, was pushed back to 5:20 PM. Similarly, several outgoing flights from Kazan, including those en route to Hanti-Mansiysk, also faced cancellation and substantial delays.
“To guarantee the safety of civil aircraft operations, temporary restrictions on the arrival and departure of planes were introduced early this morning at airports: Astrakhan, Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Saratov, and Ulyanovsk,” said Rosaviation, outlining the reasons for these exceptional measures.

For example, the flight from Surgut scheduled to depart at 3:00 AM found itself grounded until 9:00 AM, impacting not only the airline's schedule but also the plans of numerous passengers. The Telegram channel “Transportnyi Tsekh” conveyed, “The ‘Carpet’ plan at Saratov was lifted; the risk of attack has diminished.”

A flight from Kazan to St. Petersburg also saw significant disruptions, leaving five hours late at 8:15 AM, rather than 3:10 AM as planned.
Conditions would reportedly improve later, as by mid-morning, flights at Kazan airport began to depart closer to their scheduled times. Passengers heading to Moscow fared relatively well, with some AeroFlot routes delayed merely for two hours.
