Kato Mamoru shares his wedding joy on YouTube, committing to life together in Miyazaki.

Japanese actress Kato Kazuko recently announced the marriage of her son, Kato Mamoru, on her official blog, much to the delight of fans and followers. The announcement, made on February 24, detailed how Mamoru and his wife celebrated this significant milestone, including sharing joyful moments through social media.

On February 23, Mamoru shared a heartfelt video on his YouTube channel, titled "Kato Mamoru Marriage Announcement," where he expressed his surprise and happiness about tying the knot. "I got married!" he exclaimed, adding, "I never thought I would get married until I met this person. This is surprising for me too," reflecting on the unexpected love he found with his partner, who is also his university alumnus.

Kato Kazuko’s post revealed the couple's plans to embrace life as residents of Miyazaki, the city known for its beautiful landscapes and vibrant culture. Kazuko expressed pride and joy over her son’s marriage, stating, "My son reported his registration on YouTube yesterday, and both he and his wife are committed to working hard as citizens of Miyazaki."

The couple's decision to live and work together as part of the local community is heartwarming to see, and adds to the sentiment of their union. Mamoru also noted during the video presentation his partner's professional background: "She works at a company based in Tokyo, but she will be working remotely as we relocate to Miyazaki. We are excited about our new life together here."

The engagement was officially registered on February 20, coinciding with Kato Kazuko's 67th birthday, making the celebration dual-purpose. Kazuko shared cheerful photos of Mamoru with his bride, showcasing the couple's happiness and readiness to start this new chapter together.

Mamoru has had quite the impressive academic and professional background. Graduated from Rikkyo University, he went on to study public policy at Georgetown University, where he received his master's degree. During his time studying abroad, he gained experience working with the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), contributing valuable insights and skills.

Upon returning to Japan at age 25, Mamoru entered the workforce at Nomura Research Institute, where he worked as a consultant primarily focused on logistics, tourism, human resources policies, and regional revitalization. Most recently, he served as the policy secretary for his father, Higashikuni Hideo, during the latter's candidacy for the Miyazaki gubernatorial election last year.

Higashikuni expressed happiness for his son’s marriage, connecting with Kazuko's sentiment of pride. Their familial ties and shared experiences seem to strengthen the joy felt by the Kato family as they commemorate this newest development.

For Mamoru and his partner, the personal commitment made to each other reflects not only their romantic sentiments but also their intentions of supporting each other and their community. With plans to engage actively within Miyazaki, it's clear the couple is dedicated to establishing roots and making positive contributions to their hometown.

This marriage marks not only the beginning of Mamoru’s new life as a married man but also signals hope and joy within the Kato family as they celebrate bonds of love and commitment shaped within the warm embrace of community spirit. Kato Kazuko’s celebratory announcement encapsulates the love, pride, and excitement surrounding this new chapter for her son.
