Katie Price Faces Health Concerns Amid Tour And Music Comeback

Fans worry over Katie Price’s weight loss and hospital visits while she celebrates a chart-topping single and prepares to release new music during her UK tour.

Katie Price, the ever-resilient reality star and singer, is back in the spotlight this autumn with a whirlwind of activity that’s drawn both applause and concern from fans and followers across the UK. From the stage lights of her joint tour with Kerry Katona to the anticipation of her new single’s release, Price’s recent weeks have been a rollercoaster—one marked by professional triumphs, personal challenges, and the ever-present scrutiny of public life.

In late September 2025, Price and her longtime friend Kerry Katona hit the road together for their joint UK tour, An Evening with Katie Price and Kerry Katona. Their recent stop at The Prince’s Theatre in Clapton brought out crowds eager to see the duo’s mix of candid storytelling, laughter, and reality. Backstage, the pair posed for photos, beaming for fans and sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses on social media. Katona posted, "A few bts [behind the scenes] of the @katieandkerrytour. If you wanna see more behind the scenes go follow my snap!! @kerry_katona." The mood, at least on stage, was upbeat and celebratory.

Yet, amid the excitement, some fans voiced concern about Price’s health. The 47-year-old mother of five has recently experienced noticeable weight loss, prompting a flurry of worried comments online. One fan wrote, "The show looks fab, I hope Katie gets the support she needs the poor woman looks so unwell," a sentiment that quickly garnered support from others. While many praised the show—one called it "one of the best shows I’ve seen filled with laughter emotion and reality"—the undercurrent of anxiety about Price’s well-being was unmistakable.

The concern isn’t without reason. According to Daily Star, Price has made several hospital visits in recent weeks. Earlier in September, she suffered a kitchen accident, cutting her left wrist while making a curry. She shared the ordeal with fans, posting, "Not what I had on my Bingo card for Friday night," alongside a photo of an A&E sign. "Last night I accidentally stabbed myself with a knife, you can see on the injury how deep it was, and I had to have stitches." The injury required medical attention, and Price later returned to have her stitches removed and undergo blood tests.

But the cut wasn’t the only reason for her hospital visits. Price explained to fans on Snapchat, "Gone to the doctors about my weight. I've been up early at the doctors so she could do some bloods and because my veins are so s*** they had three attempts. They could only fill two tubes up, so I've got to go back in two weeks. I've got to have my stitches out then because they looked at my little stab wound that I did. The reason I'm going to the doctors is because I keep losing weight and I don't know why. So that's that."

Speculation about the cause of Price’s weight loss has run rampant, but she’s been quick to address the rumors head-on. Denying the use of weight loss medication, Price pointed to her health history as the root of her changing appearance. "Yes I've lost weight. Yes that's what I've wanted to do, I've wanted to lose weight. Because... three, four years ago when I broke my feet I was in a wheelchair for ten months because they said I'd never walk again, and obviously you put weight on being in a wheelchair. And then I did all the IVF stuff, that also puts on weight. So yeah, I did put on weight and I hated it, I felt uncomfortable and it wasn't me."

While Price has reassured fans that she’s happy with her progress, the attention on her health hasn’t overshadowed her professional ambitions. In fact, she’s riding a new wave of musical success. The Brighton-born star, now living in Haywards Heath, has announced the release of her latest single, Best of Me, set to drop on October 3, 2025. Featuring Lady Ice and produced by Shaye, the track marks Price’s return to the music scene, and she’s made no secret of her excitement. "Four days until my single drops everywhere," she posted online. "Cannot wait for this. The amount of love and support online is incredible. Please pre save and let’s get this to the charts."

The anticipation for Best of Me is fueled by a recent surprise: Price’s 2017 song I Got U unexpectedly soared to number one on the iTunes chart in late August, a feat Price described as a "childhood dream come true." The surge was propelled by fans rallying to support her amid ongoing tensions with ex-husband Peter Andre, the father of two of her children, Junior and Princess. The show of solidarity was a reminder of Price’s enduring appeal—and the loyalty of her fanbase, even as her personal life plays out in the public eye.

That personal life, as ever, has been complicated. On her podcast, The Katie Price Show, Price recently expressed her disappointment at being excluded from filming her daughter Princess’s reality series, The Princess Diaries. She told listeners, "We get on like best friends, mother and daughter. Princess lives with me and she stays at her dad's. She's been staying at her dad's the past two months because she's been filming her show. Our personal life together is amazing." Price was adamant there is "absolutely no rift" between her and Princess.

However, the family dynamic took another turn when Peter Andre issued a rare public statement, responding to Price’s comments. He said, "For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today. The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood. In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children."

Through it all, Price’s focus appears to remain on her children and her career. As a mother of five, she’s navigated public scrutiny, health scares, and family disputes, yet continues to connect with fans—whether from a theatre stage, a hospital bed, or the recording studio. The coming weeks will see her juggling tour dates with Katona and the release of her new single, all under the watchful eyes of supporters and critics alike.

For Price, the show goes on. Her story, marked by resilience and reinvention, continues to unfold in real time—on stage, on the charts, and in the hearts of those who follow her every move.
