JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Response Sheet Released Today

Candidates can now download their response sheets and answer keys to evaluate their performance in the recent exams.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially concluded the JEE Main Session 2 exams, which took place from April 2 to April 9, 2025. Following the completion of the exams, the response sheet is set to be released today, April 12, 2025. This important document will allow candidates to review their marked answers, providing them with a clearer understanding of their performance in the examination.

Students can access their JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Response Sheet by visiting the official NTA website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. To download the response sheet, candidates will need to log in using their application number and date of birth or password. The response sheet will contain details of the answers marked by the candidates during the examination.

As part of the evaluation process, the NTA will also release the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Answer Key alongside the response sheet. This dual release will enable students to cross-check their answers and calculate their probable scores based on the marking scheme of the exam.

The marking scheme for the JEE Main exam awards four marks for each correct answer, while one mark is deducted for incorrect answers. Unanswered questions do not affect the score. This system allows candidates to estimate their performance accurately before the official results are announced.

For many students, the JEE Main is a crucial step towards securing admission into prestigious engineering institutes, including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other government-funded technical institutes (GFTIs). According to the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), over 24,000 seats are available in NITs, approximately 17,000 in IITs, and around 8,000 in IIITs for candidates who qualify through the JEE Main.

In a recent development, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has ordered an investigation into claims that some JEE Main aspirants missed their exams due to traffic restrictions related to his official convoy. Reports suggest that over 25 candidates were unable to reach their exam centers in Pendurthi on time because of these restrictions. Kalyan's office has requested the Visakhapatnam police to determine how long the traffic was halted for the convoy.

As the candidates await their results, they can also look forward to the JEE Advanced exam, scheduled for May 18, 2025. Those who qualify in the JEE Main will be eligible to register for JEE Advanced, which is another critical step for students aiming to secure a seat in top-tier engineering programs.

The expected cutoff for various categories has also been a point of discussion. For example, the expected cutoff for the EWS category is around 78 percentile, while the general category cutoff is projected to be between 95 and 97 percentile. These cutoffs are based on trends from previous years and will be confirmed once the results are released.

In addition to the response sheet and answer key, the NTA is expected to release a list of toppers for the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 alongside the results. This list will highlight the highest scorers in the examination, serving as a source of inspiration for future candidates.

With over 13 lakh candidates registering for the JEE Main 2025, and around 12.5 lakh appearing for the exam, the competition remains fierce. Candidates are encouraged to stay updated with the latest announcements from the NTA to ensure they do not miss any important information regarding their results and subsequent admission processes.

As for the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Response Sheet, it will also serve as a vital tool for students to analyze their performance. By comparing their answers with the official answer key, candidates can identify their strengths and weaknesses, which will be crucial for their preparation for future examinations.

The response sheet will include essential details such as the candidate's name, application number, roll number, test date, test time, subject, and the responses marked by the candidate. This comprehensive information will help students in their self-assessment and planning for upcoming academic challenges.

In summary, the release of the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Response Sheet and Answer Key marks a significant milestone for candidates eager to understand their performance and prepare for the next steps in their academic journey. With the examination process now complete, students can focus on evaluating their results and strategizing for future opportunities in the engineering field.

As the NTA continues to provide updates, candidates are urged to regularly check the official website for the latest information regarding their results, the answer key, and any related announcements. The journey to securing a place in one of India's esteemed engineering institutions is just beginning, and every piece of information will play a crucial role in shaping their future.
