The Indian Post has announced its Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) recruitment for 2025, drawing attention from job seekers across the nation. To be eligible for these positions, candidates must have completed Class 10 from a recognized board, alongside possessing basic computer knowledge. The educational requisites also stipulate the necessity of studying Mathematics and English at the Class 10 level. To apply, candidates must be aged between 18 and 40 years. The application fee is set at ₹100 for candidates belonging to the UR category, whereas SC/ST, females, transwomen, and PwD candidates are exempt from this fee.
The selection process for the India Post GDS recruitment will be entirely merit-based, meaning no formal examination will be administered. Instead, candidates will be evaluated based on their Class 10 marks. The recruitment drive is expected to yield around seven to eight merit lists, which will be published on the official website for the candidates' reference as the process progresses.

The salary range for Branch Post Masters is between ₹12,000 and ₹29,380, meanwhile, Assistant Branch Post Masters and postal service workers can expect salaries from ₹10,000 to ₹24,470. Alongside their base pay, employees will receive dearness allowance and an annual increment of three percent.
