As the results are now available, candidates can access their scorecards using their enrollment ID or email address, along with their respective passwords. The scorecards, which will depict their All India Rank (AIR), qualifying marks, and other essential details, will be downloadable from March 28 until May 31.

The cutoff marks for the GATE 2025 examination will also be declared alongside the results. Each subject's cutoff is the minimum score needed to qualify, and these results will define the subsequent path for many towards postgraduate programs.

Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) and Grid Controller of India Limited (GRID-INDIA) are among several public sector undertakings (PSUs) that will use the GATE 2025 scores for recruitment. Specifically, NPCIL will consider scores from various disciplines, including Civil Engineering (CE), Chemical Engineering (CH), and others, while GRID-INDIA will focus solely on Electrical Engineering (EE) for their recruitment process.

The relevance of a valid GATE score extends beyond recruitment, as it facilitates admission into various academic programs. These include Master’s and direct doctoral programs covering a wider scope from engineering, technology, architecture, and sciences to fields like commerce and humanities.

As per the guidelines issued by IIT Roorkee, candidates needing to download their scorecards will have from March 28 to May 31 to do so. It is crucial for students to be vigilant within this timeframe to ensure they secure their documents promptly.

The IIT Roorkee conducted GATE 2025 in two shifts across the scheduled dates, where the examination was split into sections: general aptitude and the subjects chosen by candidates. The score verification process rated the GATE exam 2025 overall as moderate, based on feedback from the candidates who participated.

With the results now live, aspiring engineers eager to pursue further education or career opportunities will surely be closely examining their performance. The GATE exams not only assist in educational pathways but also open doors for various scholarships and fellowships in the research domains.
