Hosts Announced For Sanremo 2025 PrimaFestival

Bianca Guaccero, Gabriele Corsi, and Mariasole Pollio to lead the exciting pre-festival show.

Carlo Conti has officially revealed the hosts for the PrimaFestival during the 1:30 PM TG1 newscast on December 27, 2024. The announcement has generated excitement for the upcoming Sanremo 2025 festival. This event, widely regarded as Italy’s most anticipated music festival, will showcase the talents of three charismatic presenters: Bianca Guaccero, Gabriele Corsi, and Mariasole Pollio.

The PrimaFestival, scheduled to run from February 8 to 15, 2025, serves as the perfect lead-in to the main event, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the pre-festival festivities. Conti, who is also the artistic director for Sanremo 2025, teased audiences about the importance of the PrimaFestival, stating, "Sarà un appuntamento importante, con numeri, tendenze, commenti sui social e le quotazioni. Un modo per sentire le emozioni e le tensioni prima del Festival." (It will be an important occasion with numbers, trends, social commentary, and ratings. A way to feel the emotions and tensions before the Festival) reported by TG1.

Bianca Guaccero, known for her charm and professional skills honed from her previous work on shows like Detto Fatto, has expressed immense enthusiasm about her role. After recently winning the 19th season of Ballando con le stelle, Guaccero's return to the Sanremo stage marks another milestone in her career. "Mi ha chiesto di presentare il PrimaFestival. Io sono stata felicissima perché non poteva rivolgere questa richiesta a persona più felice e più grata" (He asked me to host the PrimaFestival. I was so happy because he couldn't have asked someone happier and more grateful) she shared, excited at the prospect of guiding audiences through this major Italian music event.

Joining Guaccero will be Gabriele Corsi, whose humorous style and engaging presentation have made him popular among viewers. Known for his work on various television shows and particularly for providing commentary at the Eurovision Song Contest, Corsi brings charisma and familiarity to the hosting team. This dynamic trio aims to offer audiences lively insights and coverage leading up to the festival.

Mariasole Pollio, the youngest member of the team, will take on the role of special correspondent at the Teatro Ariston. Pollio's rising stardom stems from her performances and her role on Radio 105, where she has captivated many as one of the station's beloved personalities. She echoed her excitement, indicating her eagerness to gather real-time reactions and behind-the-scenes excitement from festival participants.

This year's festival promises to be particularly exciting with the participation of 30 artists vying for the top prize, alongside four newcomers. The artists who will perform include renowned names such as Achille Lauro, Fedez, and Giorgia. The festival is renowned for its diverse lineup, and this year’s blend of returning favorites and fresh talents ensures it will maintain its status as Italy's premier music event.

The event will culminate with the final award ceremony on February 15, 2025, at the Teatro Ariston, following the traditional schedule of performances and special showcases throughout the week. The anticipation is high, as viewers prepare to watch the iconic red carpet event, commentated live by Guaccero, Corsi, and Pollio.

Sanremo 2025 will also see new twists, as for the first time, performances on the fourth night will not count toward the final rankings, allowing artists to explore their creative expression without the pressure of scoring. This change could lead to unforgettable moments, making the festival even more unpredictable and exhilarating.

The PrimaFestival aims to capture all the buzz and energy of what is sure to be one of the most memorable events on the Italian entertainment calendar. It will be the first program to direct the spotlight on the participating artists and provide audiences not only with interviews but also with the social media fervor surrounding the festival.

With excitement building for the 75th edition of the Festival di Sanremo, Carlo Conti’s strategic choices for presenters demonstrate his commitment to both tradition and innovation. His promise for this year’s festival includes surprises and unforgettable performances, ensuring fans remain engaged right up to the show’s opening night. The show will be broadcast live on Rai 1, Radio 2, and RaiPlay, making it accessible to fans across multiple platforms.

Overall, the stage is set, and preparations are underway for what promises to be another spectacular edition of this iconic festival. The hosting ensemble of Guaccero, Corsi, and Pollio is expected to draw audiences closer to the excitement, emotions, and artistry of Sanremo, creating buzz before the curtain even rises at the Teatro Ariston.

Mark your calendars for February 8-15, 2025—the show everyone loves is just around the corner!
