The countdown to the grand opening of Hard Rock Hotel London has officially begun, as the upscale establishment is now accepting reservations. Situated at the iconic 100 Kellogg Lane, this hotel, which is part of Canada’s largest indoor entertainment complex, is set to open its doors to guests in Spring 2025.
On February 25, 2025, Hard Rock International announced the availability of bookings for guests eager to experience the novel offering. "This hotel is an offering to the London market... It’s pretty exciting for the city," expressed Martha Leach, the manager of 100 Kellogg Lane. Reservations can be made for stays beginning as early as June, with the prospect of opening earlier than planned.
Guests can expect to pay diverse rates, starting from $396 for classic accommodations featuring two queen beds, all the way up to $4,500 for the luxurious Rock Star Suite. This suite features remarkable amenities, including exclusive music-inspired touches, a bar with living room area, and even high-end options like a private kitchenette, promising to deliver unforgettable experiences.
The hotel will showcase 164 similarly well-appointed rooms, alongside three bars, one of which is the notable speakeasy named 1913, referencing the year the Kellogg factory first opened. This nod to history wraps around the hotel’s essence, enhancing its atmosphere and storyline.
John Rees, Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations at Hard Rock International, also emphasized the brand's excitement upon their entry to London. "The debut of Hard Rock Hotel London, Ontario, marks an exciting milestone as we bring our iconic brand to this vibrant city," he stated, promising guests the signature Hard Rock vibe created with music, entertainment, and hospitality interwoven throughout the experience.
Tim Dora, President of Dora Hotel Company, acknowledged the importance of partnerships involving the city and the Cribbage Group within this project. "We are eager to bring to life the unparalleled energy of Hard Rock," he said, affirming confidence about the hotel becoming a prized destination for locals and visitors alike.
The hotel’s design intricately merges the historic elements of the Kellogg brick building with modern aesthetics, featuring new stone tiles and significant displays of music memorabilia, which makes it not merely a place to stay but also explores London’s contribution to the global music scene. Music enthusiasts can immerse themselves through the hotel’s Sound of Your Stay® program, which promotes engaging interactions with music, from curated playlists to the option of spinning vinyl records on provided Victrola players.
Wellness is also incorporated at Hard Rock Hotel London, where the Rock Om® program offers unique yoga sessions set to DJ-curated soundtracks to promote relaxation. A fully equipped Body Rock® Fitness Centre allows guests to keep active with specialized music playlists enhancing every workout session.
For those traveling with pets, the hotel provides thoughtful amenities through the Unleashed program, ensuring all family members, including furry ones, enjoy their stay. All guests can also look forward to the indoor/outdoor pool, which features innovative underwater sound systems, ensuring even beneath the water's surface, guests can enjoy immersive musical experiences.
Construction of the Hard Rock Hotel began back in 2021, expectedly slowed by supply chain challenges post-pandemic, rendering its arrival even more anticipated. The hotel will witness expansion, with plans to add 200 additional rooms during the next phase of construction, doubling its size to cater to increasing demand, as expressed by Leach: "Everyone is so excited... we really feel like this is the last piece of the puzzle for this current site."
With their unique offering embedded within the vibrant culture of London, Ontario, Hard Rock Hotel is ready to redefine the hospitality experience, melding music, comfort, and luxury.
