Previously, Ford made waves by allowing its electric vehicle owners access to Tesla's charging stations, paving the way for other brands, including Hyundai and Rivian, to follow suit. For those who may not be in the loop, the NACS adapter allows GM vehicles fitted with Combined Charging System (CCS) ports to charge via Tesla’s network. From now on, users can purchase the adapter through GM’s mobile app for about $225. While some older models may require additional adjustments or software updates before using Tesla’s superchargers, GM assures users they will be notified via the app about any necessary updates.
