Gabriel Fleszar Set To Revive Hit At Festival

The Polsat Hit Festiwal celebrates Fleszar's iconic song's 26th anniversary with a fresh twist.

Gabriel Fleszar is set to perform his iconic hit "Kroplą deszczu" in a fresh arrangement at the upcoming Polsat Hit Festiwal 2025, promising fans a nostalgic yet revitalized experience. The festival, scheduled for May 23 to 25, will also mark the 26th anniversary of this beloved song, which has been a staple in Fleszar's repertoire for over two decades.

Fleszar, known for his engaging performances, revealed that Janek Sokołosa is overseeing the musical direction of the concert and has plans for a large choir to accompany him. "We will hear it in a nice new arrangement," Fleszar shared, hinting at the exciting updates fans can expect during the festival.

The Polsat Hit Festiwal is a highly anticipated event that showcases some of Poland's most cherished musical talents. Fleszar, who has performed "Kroplą deszczu" in various forms throughout his career, expressed his enthusiasm for returning to the stage at the Opera Leśna, stating, "I think this will be something new. And of course, I will be happy to step on stage once again." This year’s festival promises to be a celebration of both the past and the present in Polish music.

In addition to Fleszar's performance, the festival will feature a host of other artists and highlight the rich tapestry of Polish music. Tickets for the event are available on biletyna.pl, and fans are eager to witness a lineup that resonates with nostalgia and contemporary flair.

Meanwhile, Wojciech Gąssowski, another beloved figure in Polish music, has been reflecting on his youth and the simpler house parties that defined his early years. In a recent interview with "halo tu polsat," Gąssowski reminisced about the modest gatherings of his past, where music and atmosphere took center stage.

"I miss the times of my youth, the house parties that were modest... Parents would buy tickets to the theater or cinema, giving us four hours to ourselves. You could throw a nice little party then," Gąssowski recalled. He painted a vivid picture of these gatherings, where simple pleasures like wine, sandwiches, salty sticks, and nuts were enjoyed, all while music played in the background.

Gąssowski, known for his hits such as "Gdzie się podziały tamte prywatki" and the theme song for the popular series "M jak miłość," has remained a prominent figure in the Polish music scene. He recently invited reporters into his home in Żoliborz, where he showcased a cherished Elvis Presley record that held sentimental value. "In compact version, this is the first Elvis Presley album that my friend Marek Dąbrowski, unfortunately no longer with us, received from his sister who lived in England," he shared, highlighting the personal connections music can create.

As part of the upcoming Sopot Super Hit Festiwal in May, Gąssowski will participate in a special concert dedicated to the nostalgia of house parties. This event will feature fellow artists like Sidney Polak and Tadeusz Drozda, promising an evening filled with cherished memories and classic hits.

Despite the passage of time, Gąssowski continues to perform, demonstrating not only his vocal talent but also his physical endurance. He noted, "Physically, knock on wood, I still manage, but every now and then something hurts, something stings. It didn't happen to me in my youth. But I feel that being active helps me; I still perform today. Sometimes I think to myself that I must have a lot of strength since I can drive 500 kilometers, play a concert, and return home." His dedication to his craft and the energy he brings to his performances remain a testament to his passion for music.

As both Fleszar and Gąssowski prepare for their respective performances, the Polish music scene is buzzing with excitement. The upcoming festivals not only celebrate individual artists but also honor the collective memories and experiences that music brings to fans across generations. With a mix of nostalgia and innovation, these events promise to be memorable highlights in the cultural calendar.

In a world that often feels fast-paced and disconnected, the return to live music events like the Polsat Hit Festiwal and Sopot Super Hit Festiwal offers a comforting reminder of the power of music to unite and evoke emotions. As these artists take the stage, they will not only entertain but also create new memories for fans, continuing the legacy of Polish music.
