Emotional Moments Highlight Kyöku's Performance On Mam Talent

Agnieszka Chylińska's heartfelt praise brings tears to the vocalist in a heated jury debate.

In the latest episode of 'Mam Talent', the popular talent show aired on March 23, 2025, emotions ran high as the rock band Kyöku took to the stage, captivating both the judges and the audience.

Kicking off the night, the band led by the charismatic vocalist Iza performed an energetic rock piece that drew attention for its dynamic sound and engaging performances. However, their presence sparked a heated debate among the judges, primarily centered around the vocalist’s ability to tackle such a demanding genre.

Marcin Prokop, the first to comment, expressed skepticism about Iza’s performance, claiming that her voice seemed more suited for softer, more intimate songs rather than the strong rock aesthetic they aimed to deliver. “I have mixed feelings. It seems to me that you don't have a strong enough voice for such powerful playing. I would rather hear you in more intimate numbers than in such strong rock ‘growling,’” Prokop pointed out. This critique initiated a somewhat tense discussion among the judges.

Contrarily, Julia Wieniawa jumped to Iza’s defense, enthusiastic about her vocal prowess. Acknowledging Iza’s performance, she stated, “I think you would sound great for both kinds of songs! I fell in love, primarily with your voice... It’s also nice that you beautifully look after the band, and you’re not covering them up!” This remark reflected a stark contrast to Prokop’s assessments.

As the tension built in the studio, Agnieszka Chylińska, a seasoned veteran in the music world and a major judge, finally weighed in. Drawing on her extensive experience and understanding of being a lead vocalist herself, Chylińska lavished praise on Iza, igniting a flood of tears from the young singer. “Iza, you are a wonderful girl, you know? I have the impression that you did not show the full extent of the voice you have, which I feel... Knowing that there is a girl like you in the world, I can now quietly retire. For me, your voice matters! I am happy that you showed up! I have tremendous respect for what you do. Keep your head up; everything will be alright!” she said, words laden with sincerity and admiration that resonated deeply with Iza.

Following the heartfelt exchange, Jan Pirowski, the show's host, noted that such words from Agnieszka Chylińska are some of the greatest compliments a band could ever receive, emphasizing the impact of the moment not only on Iza but on everyone in the studio. As the episode drew to a close, Kyöku received three affirmative votes from the jury and advanced to the next stage, showcasing the judges' ultimate appreciation of the band despite initial reservations.

This emotional confrontation in 'Mam Talent' was not just about competition; it revealed a profound connection between artists and judges, highlighting the power of encouragement and respect in the pursuit of artistic desires. The episode has since sparked discussions online on the critical role that mentorship and validation play in the journey of young talents in the music industry.
