Delhi University Announces 2025 Odd Semester Results

Students can now check their results online for various undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

The Department of Distance and Continuing Education at the University of Delhi's School of Open Learning (DU SOL) has officially announced the results for the odd semester examinations conducted in November and December 2024. This announcement, made on April 24, 2025, allows students from both regular and open learning streams to access their results online through the university's official portals: exam.du.ac.in and sol.du.ac.in.

Students enrolled in a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including BA, BCom, MA, MSc, and MCom, can now check their performance by entering their roll numbers on the result portal. This step is crucial for students who wish to verify their academic progress and ensure that all details are accurately recorded.

To check their results, students should follow a straightforward process. First, they need to visit the official DU result portal. Once there, they should click on the 'Results' tab located on the left side of the homepage. This will lead them to a new window where they can select the 'Result/Marksheet' option and subsequently click on the 'Print Marksheet' link. After entering their examination roll number and selecting the appropriate course and semester, students can click on 'Print Score Card' to view their results. It is advisable for students to download or save the marksheet PDF for future reference.

Once the results are displayed, students are encouraged to thoroughly review their online Statement of Marks/Grades. This document contains vital information, including personal details such as the student’s name, parents’ names, college name, and enrollment number, along with academic information like course and program, semester, paper codes, maximum marks, marks obtained, subject credits, overall CGPA, and division.

In the event that any discrepancies are found in the marksheet, students must promptly notify the university authorities or their respective colleges to request corrections. This proactive approach is essential to ensuring that all academic records are accurate and up-to-date.

In addition to the exam results, the University of Delhi is also inviting applications for the Vice Chancellor's summer internship (VCIS), which will take place between June and July 2025. This internship opportunity is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in the university, although final year or final semester students are not eligible to apply. This initiative offers students a chance to gain valuable experience and enhance their academic profiles.

As the academic year progresses, students are advised to stay updated by regularly checking the official DU SOL website for further announcements and details regarding their courses and examinations. The university's commitment to providing a comprehensive educational experience is reflected in these initiatives, ensuring that students have access to the resources they need to succeed.

In summary, the release of the odd semester results marks a significant milestone for students at the University of Delhi's School of Open Learning. With the ability to access their results online, students can take the necessary steps to verify their academic performance and address any issues that may arise promptly. The university's ongoing efforts to support its student body through various initiatives, including internships and accurate record maintenance, exemplify its dedication to fostering a conducive learning environment.
