Poland's vibrant cultural scene is set to experience a new milestone as popular artist Dawid Podsiadło prepares to launch his unique festival, Zorza, which aims to blend music with other forms of artistic expression. Scheduled for the summer of 2025, Zorza will tour six major cities, providing attendees with not just musical performances but also enriching experiences encompassing visual arts, literature, and design.
The festival is expected to make its debut on June 6-7, 2025, at Malta Komandoria, Poznań, followed by events at AWF Wrocław on June 27-28, AWF Warszawa on July 11-12, Park Lotników, Kraków on July 25-26, Stocznia, Gdańsk on August 15-16, and finally Lotnisko Muchowiec, Katowice on August 29-30. Each location was carefully chosen to create a unique atmosphere, with events taking place away from the urban hustle and bustle.
"I feel like starting this festival marks the beginning of something entirely new for us. On the one hand, as always, there’s music. We will showcase extraordinary projects, most of which are being created from scratch with our festival in mind. We are grateful and proud to have such fantastic artists embrace our concept and accept our invitation," said Podsiadło, outlining his vision for Zorza.
Zorza isn't just about music—it's about presenting artists and musical formats familiar to fans, but with fresh interpretations and performances exclusively prepared for the festival. The line-up includes top talent such as Kaśka Sochacka and Artur Rojek, who will join Podsiadło for unique performances blending their distinctive styles.
This innovative approach also aims to build communities around cultural engagement, inviting participants to be co-creators rather than mere consumers of culture. Podsiadło highlighted the importance of nurturing this collective spirit, noting, "We want to inspire, provide platforms, and support the growth of new phenomena within our culture." Zorza promises to connect musical experiences with artistic discovery throughout the event, making it more than just another festival.
During the event, audiences will be treated to live performances of new music, as well as dedicated multimedia outputs like singles and dedicated releases anticipated prior to the festival's start. Each city will experience premier acts, creating unique moments for festival-goers.
Podsiadło will perform two notable projects at Zorza: one as part of a collaboration with Sochacka, expected to culminate in new tracks prior to the festival, and another as a tribute to Myslovitz, the band of his youth, featuring Rojek on stage.
Attendees can look forward to diverse performances including Kortez, who will return with his music after ten years, and rap artist Sokół, performing alongside the Waglewski brothers. Paulina Przybysz will also bring her unique twist to Bajm's classics, lending her Y voice to the familiar tunes.
Getting tickets for Zorza will be streamlined; pre-sale begins on February 12, 2025, for select groups. General sales will follow on February 13, 2025, with single-day access priced at 249 PLN and two-day passes available for 449 PLN. Each ticket will require individual personalization, ensuring fans are engaged from the start.
Undoubtedly, Zorza aims to become one of Poland's cornerstone cultural events. It will not only welcome established artists but also encourage new trends across various art domains. Podsiadło's commitment to cultural innovation is clear; he notes, "This project is our opportunity to take fresh, artistic breaths and create something new, different, and sometimes even slightly crazy—all happening here substantially, only once, and uniquely be inspired by these moments together."
Looking forward, Zorza is charting its course to become a leading cultural summit, set to make waves across Poland's artistic community, with future editions planned for every two years.
