Alvarez is one of the most accomplished boxers in recent history, having logged 64 career fights across a professional career that began in October 2005. He won the first 42 fights of his career before falling to Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a monster bout back in September 2013. Alvarez has won five straight title defense bouts since losing for the second time in his career to Dmitry Bivol in May 2022 in Alvarez’s bid to move up and take Dmitry Bivol’s WBA World Light Heavyweight Title.

Alvarez is listed as a huge favorite (-3000) to defeat Scull, a 32-year-old Cuban fighter with a perfect 23-0-0 career record. In his most recent fight, Scull defeated Vladimir Shishkin in October 2024 to win the IBF World Super Middleweight Title. He’ll put that belt on the line in a bid to spring a major upset and become undisputed Super Middleweight Champ.

Canelo vs. Scull is the main event on a main card that includes:

- Co-main event: Super middleweight: Bruno Surace (26-0-2) vs. Jaim Munguia (44-2)

- Heavyweight: Martin Bakole (21-2) vs. Efe Ajagba (20-1)

- Super welterweight: Marco Verde (0-0) vs. Michael Polina (4-5-3)

- WBC World Cruiserweight Title Fight: Badou Jack (28-3-3) vs. Noel Mikaelyan (27-2)

Three preliminary fights are also slated for Saturday night:

- Middleweight: Brayan Leon (6-0) vs. Aaron Guerrero (11-3-1)

- Heavyweight: Richard Riakporhe (17-1) vs. Kevin Espindola (9-9)

- Featherweight: Mohammed Alakel (3-0) vs. Alexander Morales (6-13-5)

With so much at stake for both Alvarez and Scull, fans are eagerly awaiting what promises to be an electrifying night of boxing.
