The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP), is set to announce the AP Inter results for both 1st and 2nd year students today, April 12, 2025, at 11 AM. This eagerly awaited announcement comes after the completion of the Intermediate Public Exams (IPE) held in March, where over 10 lakh students participated.
Cabinet Minister Lokesh Nara confirmed that the results will be declared on schedule, providing students with a much-needed update on their academic performance. To check their results, candidates will need to enter their hall ticket number and date of birth.
In addition to the official websites, students can also check their results via WhatsApp by sending a "Hi" to the Mana Mitra helpline at 9552300009, making it easier for students to access their results.
The AP Inter results will include crucial details such as the candidate's name, class, hall ticket number, marks obtained in each subject, practical marks, total marks, qualifying status, and the overall grade or percentage secured. To pass the AP Intermediate exams, students must achieve a minimum of 35% marks in each subject.
Last year, the results showed a pass percentage of 78% for 2nd year students, with 3,06,528 out of 3,93,757 candidates passing the exams. For the 1st year, the pass percentage was 67%, with 3,10,875 students clearing the exams out of 4,61,273 who appeared.
This year, the 1st year exams were conducted from March 1 to March 19, while the 2nd year exams took place from March 3 to March 20. With such a large number of students registered for the exams, the results will be closely monitored by parents and educational institutions alike.
For students who do not achieve the required passing marks, the BIEAP will offer supplementary exams. Those who fail in one or two subjects will have the opportunity to retake those subjects in the supplementary exams scheduled later this year.
Students who are not satisfied with their results can request a re-verification or re-evaluation of their answer sheets by paying the required fee. The revaluation process is expected to begin in May or June 2025, allowing students to seek corrections if they believe their scores do not reflect their performance accurately.
