AP Inter Results 2025 Set For April 12 Release

Students eagerly await their scores as BIEAP prepares to announce results for over 8 lakh candidates.

The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP), is set to announce the results for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) for both 1st and 2nd years on April 12, 2025, at 11 AM. Students who participated in these examinations can access their results on the official websites: bie.ap.gov.in and results.bie.ap.gov.in.

This year's exams saw a significant number of participants, with over 8.5 lakh students registered for the general stream and approximately 70,822 for vocational courses. The BIEAP conducted the 1st year exams from March 1 to March 19, 2025, while the 2nd year exams took place from March 3 to March 20, 2025. The practical exams for General and Vocational courses were held earlier, from February 10 to 20 and February 5 to 20, respectively.

Last year, the results were declared on April 12, 2024, with a pass percentage of 78% for the 2nd-year general category, where 3,06,580 out of 3,93,757 candidates passed. In the vocational category, 71% of students passed, with 23,000 out of 32,339 candidates successful. The overall performance in the previous years has shown fluctuations, with pass percentages of 76% in 2024, 72% in 2023, and a high of 100% in 2021.

For the 2025 results, students can expect a grading system where those scoring between 91 to 100 marks will receive an A1 grade, while scores of 81 to 90 will earn an A2. Grades continue down to C2 for scores between 41 to 50, and students must obtain at least 35% in each subject to pass.

Students dissatisfied with their results can apply for recounting and re-evaluation of their answer sheets. The re-evaluation results are expected to be published in May or June 2025. The BIEAP has also made provisions for supplementary exams for those who do not pass, offering them a second chance to improve their scores.

In a move to ease the examination burden, the BIEAP is considering removing the 1st-year public exams altogether, aligning more closely with other educational boards such as the CBSE. This proposal is part of broader educational reforms aimed at reducing pressure on students and improving educational outcomes.

Students can also access their results through SMS and WhatsApp, providing additional avenues to check their performance. For SMS, students can send their registration number in a specified format to receive their results directly on their mobile phones.

As anticipation builds for the results announcement, students and parents are encouraged to keep checking the official BIEAP websites for the latest updates. The board promises to provide all necessary information, including pass percentages and any changes to grading criteria, during the results press conference.

In summary, the upcoming release of the AP Inter results for 2025 marks a crucial moment for students across Andhra Pradesh as they await their scores and prepare for the next steps in their educational journeys.
