The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP), has officially declared the AP Inter Results 2025 on April 12, 2025, at 11 AM. This year, a total of 10,17,102 candidates registered for the exams, with 5,25,848 being first-year students and 4,91,254 in the second year. The results for both classes can be easily checked by entering the hall ticket number and date of birth on the BIEAP website. The Class 11 exams commenced on March 1 and concluded on March 19, while the Class 12 exams started on March 3 and ended on March 20. This year, the pass percentage for the second-year exams stood at an impressive 83%, with 351,521 out of 422,030 candidates passing. In the first-year results, the overall pass percentage was 70%, with 342,979 of the 487,295 candidates passing.
Results were announced during a press conference, where officials also shared detailed statistics, including grade-wise and gender-wise performance. Notably, girls outperformed boys in both years, with 86% of girls passing the second year compared to 80% of boys. In the first year, 75% of girls passed, while 66% of boys successfully cleared the exams.
The grading system for the AP Inter exams is as follows: A1 (91-100 marks), A2 (81-90 marks), B1 (71-80 marks), B2 (61-70 marks), C1 (51-60 marks), C2 (41-50 marks), D1 (35-40 marks), and F (34 and below). To pass, students must achieve at least 35% in each subject.
For those who wish to contest their results, the BIEAP has set the re-verification fee at ₹1300, while re-counting costs ₹260. Students can apply for these services from April 13 to April 22, 2025. Furthermore, supplementary examinations for those who did not pass will be held from May 12 to May 20, 2025, in two sessions daily.
In terms of district performance, Krishna, Guntur, and NTR topped the charts for first-year results, achieving pass percentages of 85%, 82%, and 81%, respectively. For the second year, Krishna again led with 93%, followed by Guntur with 91%, and NTR with 89%. This reflects a consistent trend of academic excellence in these districts.
For vocational stream students, the overall pass percentage was 62% in the first year and 77% in the second year, showcasing a strong performance compared to previous years. The vocational exams saw 38,553 candidates in the first year and 33,289 in the second year, with significant numbers passing.
Students are advised to keep their hall ticket numbers handy when checking results, as this information is crucial for accessing their scores. The marks memo will include essential details such as the student's name, hall ticket number, subject-wise marks, and overall result status.
The BIEAP is also set to issue migration certificates for students who have completed their second-year examinations, allowing them to pursue higher studies. Duplicate certificates can be obtained by those who have lost their originals.
As the results have been released, the Board encourages students to review their marksheets carefully. In case of discrepancies, they should promptly contact their school authorities for corrections.
