Anna-Carina Woitschack Exits Dschungelcamp After Emotional Journey

The Schlager star reflects on challenges, conflicts, and personal growth during her time on the hit reality show.

Anna-Carina Woitschack, the beloved Schlager singer, has officially exited the RTL reality show "Ich bin ein Star – Holt mich hier raus!" (better known as Dschungelcamp) after enduring 14 arduous days filled with challenges, emotional turmoil, and interpersonal conflict. On February 6, 2025, she received the unfortunate news of her elimination after receiving the fewest audience votes, but rather than displaying disappointment, Woitschack expressed relief and satisfaction with her performance.

Reflecting on her time spent fighting for the Dschungel crown, Woitschack stated, "Ich habe gekämpft, mich den Herausforderungen gestellt und durchgehalten. Ich bin nicht gescheitert – scheitern ist, wenn man aufgibt. Und das habe ich nicht," emphasizing her tenacity and determination during her time on the show. The singer, known for her resilience and upbeat personality, admitted the last two weeks were particularly challenging, explaining, "Es war wirklich eine harte Zeit. Es waren gute zwei Wochen und ich bin froh, dass ich es nicht abgebrochen, sondern durchgehalten habe."

Throughout her time in the Dschungel, Anna-Carina faced multiple difficulties, including various intense challenges testing her physical and mental limits. A notable incident occurred when she was required to participate in a task within a sealed container, which triggered her severe claustrophobia. "Ich wusste nicht, dass ich so extreme Platzangst habe," she recounted to BILD, describing the panic she experienced when she found herself restrained and surrounded by snakes. This incident forced her to invoke the show's famous line: "Ich bin ein Star – holt mich hier raus!" just moments after the challenge began.

But the internal struggles weren’t limited to physical tasks—social dynamics within the camp were equally, if not more, draining. Anna-Carina found herself frequently at odds with fellow contestant Edith Stehfest, who she accused of inciting conflict and division among the group. "Sie hat uns gegeneinander aufgehetzt," she said, describing how the atmosphere had soured due to Stehfest’s behavior, which escalated to the point where Anne-Carina remarked, "Plötzlich durfte ich nicht mal mehr über Essen reden – weil sie es verboten hat! Das war mir einfach zu viel."

Alongside conflicts, Anna-Carina also faced the constant stress of hunger and waiting. "Die schlimmste Zeit war immer zwischen Prüfung und Essen. Vous sitzt da, völlig ausgehungert, und hoffst, dass es überhaupt noch etwas gibt," she explained, highlighting the hard reality of life inside the camp.

Interestingly, during her time away from home, Anna-Carina was also able to reflect on her recent separation from her ex-husband, Stefan Mross. She revealed these moments provided her with clarity and relief, noting, "Es hat sich gut angefühlt, das loszuwerden. Ich weiß nicht, was draußen daraus gemacht wurde – aber für mich war es ein ehrlicher Moment." This acknowledgment of her past relationship provided insight not only about her personal growth but also contributed to her strong emotional reaction when receiving letters from her partner during the show.

Despite the various challenges faced, Anna-Carina took pride in her participation and would often recall the supportive moments shared with other contestants, especially during night watches when conversations led to heartfelt connections. Speaking about fellow contestant Timur Ülker, she observed, "Nach Nachtwache mit Edith war er wie ausgewechselt. Alle haben es gemerkt," implying his shift perhaps came from the tensions stirred by Stehfest.

Though she left the show, Anna-Carina maintains hope for future friendships with some contestants. Regarding Alessia, with whom she had rocky moments, Anna-Carina communicated, "Ja, alles ist total fein. Ich glaube, das war einfach ein Missverständnis."

Woitschack's exit reflects not just her personal triumphs and challenges but speaks to the intense pressures reality television often places on individuals. While her Dschungelcamp experience is over, the memories and lessons learned will undoubtedly continue to echo as she moves forward, both personally and professionally. For her fans, Anna-Carina Woitschack remains not just a star of the Dschungel but also a symbol of resilience, courage, and authenticity.
