On April 22, 2025, Algeria's State Secretary for Energy, Nour Eddine Yassa, met with Stefano Sanino, the General Manager for the Middle East, North Africa, and Gulf countries of the European Commission, to discuss strengthening their strategic partnership in renewable energy.
