AIIMS Common Recruitment Examination 2025 Details Announced

Candidates urged to download admit cards beginning February 20 and prepare for February exam dates.

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced the schedule for the highly anticipated Common Recruitment Examination (CRE) 2025, set to take place from February 26 to 28, 2025. This exam will facilitate the recruitment of individuals for 4,576 Group B and C posts across various organizations under the AIIMS umbrella.

According to AIIMS, candidates will be able to download their admit cards starting February 20, 2025, from the official website aiimsexams.ac.in. The admit card is indispensable for entry to the examination hall, and will contain information about the exam date, time, and venue, alongside other personal details such as name, photograph, and registration number.

To access the admit cards, candidates need to visit the official site, navigate to the 'Recruitments' section, and look for the 'Common Recruitment Examination' link. They will be prompted to input their Registration Number and Password before they can submit the details and retrieve the admit card.

It is imperative for candidates to print their admit cards on A4 size paper to present at their designated examination centers, as entry without this document will not be permitted. AIIMS has also laid out specific items candidates must carry along, including valid government-issued ID, passport-size photographs, and any additional documents mentioned on the admit card.

The AIIMS CRE will be conducted online as a computer-based test (CBT), lasting 1.5 hours with 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) worth 400 marks overall. The questions will encompass General Knowledge, Aptitude, and subjects relevant to the positions being filled.

Especially noteworthy is the exam's marking scheme: each correct answer earns four marks, whereas one-fourth mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Candidates are advised to be well-prepared as the test will cover 75 specific questions related to the subject matter of their applications.

Regarding the examination environment, candidates should be aware of specific dress codes and regulations enforced on examination day. AIIMS recommends avoiding large ornaments and certain types of footwear, such as those with thick soles or high heels.

Interestingly, the examination does not mandate any specific dress code, but it does advise candidates to dress appropriately considering weather conditions. If candidates have any religious or customary attire, they should arrive early to accommodate necessary security checks.

With these details like the admit card release date and exam particulars firmly established, candidates are encouraged to prepare adequately for this significant recruitment opportunity. The AIIMS Common Recruitment Examination is not just another test, but rather a gateway to numerous career opportunities within the medical and healthcare sectors.

Stay up to date for more information as AIIMS shares subsequent updates leading up to the exam, ensuring candidates are well-informed and ready to succeed.
