Environmental awareness shapes our travels too. A whopping 80% of South African travelers account for the environmental impact of their excursions, surpassing the EMEA average of 72%. Half of the South African respondents—48%—confirm using AI tools for holiday research, demonstrating its rising influence. South Africans are mindful of balancing their travel plans with budgets, as 62% cite special pricing as the cornerstone of their travel planning and options for less busy seasons suggest travelers are savvy and strategic.

This strategic adoption has led to over 50% faster response times when addressing client inquiries and boosting lead closures by as much as 30% within just six months.
