Załęcki Slaps Hallmann During FAME: F2F Showdown

Tensions boil over as Denis Załęcki confronts Piotr Hallmann during live program, igniting rivalry for upcoming fight.

During the latest episode of the FAME: F2F program, tensions escalated between Denis Załęcki and Piotr Hallmann, culminating in Załęcki delivering a slap to the former police officer. This incident occurred during what began as a relatively calm discussion, swiftly turning heated due to certain provoking remarks.

The conflict emerged during the program, hosted by Maciej Turski and Hubert Mściwujewski, when they referenced one of Hallmann's recent videos, which featured the ex-UFC fighter engaging playfully with someone impersonifying Załęcki, complete with a paper face mask. Załęcki, known as 'Bad Boy,' did not appreciate this depiction, responding to Hallmann with aggression.

"Po chu prowokujesz? Wypiedolić ci w zęby? Pojeało cię kuwo?" Załęcki exclaimed, confronting Hallmann about provoking him through the humor of the video. The situation escalated quickly, resulting in Załęcki making contact with Hallmann's face. Though the slap did not land effectively, it was enough to show the tension between the two fighters, igniting palpable animosity.

Hallmann, unfazed by the escalation, retorted: "Dobra… kuwa filmik, się podniecasz," dismissing Załęcki's aggression. The exchange continued with Załęcki declaring, "Masz szczęście, że jest walka, bo bym cię tu rozpiedolił kuwa," presenting the imminent fight as the only reason he wasn’t taking stronger action.

Interestingly, Hallmann’s demeanor shifted as the discussion progressed. He later reflected upon Załęcki's approach, admitting he was taken aback by the respect shown toward him, particularly since Załęcki maintained some decorum during their tense exchange.

Hallmann remarked, "chuowy," acknowledging the video he created was poorly made, effectively conceding to Załęcki's critique. It seemed both competitors recognized the line between entertainment and provocation, albeit with differing approaches. Hallmann's admission may have defused part of the tension, but it remains clear the rivalry is far from over.

The altercation is set against the backdrop of the upcoming match at FAME 24, where Załęcki and Hallmann will face off as part of the 'UNDERGROUND CHAMPIONSHIP' quarter-finals. Alongside them, other fighters such as Paweł Tyburski, Marcin Wrzosek, Gracjan Szadziński, Alan Kwieciński, Alberto Simao, and Krystian Maliszewski are also competing.

This incident adds another layer to the already heightened stakes of the fight, as it showcases the personal animosities at play within the larger tournament framework, making FAME 24 one of the most anticipated events on the calendar.
