Yungblud Makes Grand Return With New Epic Single

The British rocker releases 'Hello Heaven, Hello' alongside Bludfest announcement and a stunning music video.

Yungblud has made a triumphant return to the music scene with his new release, a nine-minute single titled "Hello Heaven, Hello". The track, which premiered on March 18, 2025, showcases the British artist's distinctive blend of rock and pop elements, firmly establishing his place in the modern music landscape.

Not only did the single drop, but it also arrived with a stunning music video directed by Charlie Sarsfield, which was broadcast across MTV’s channels and featured prominently on the Paramount Times Square billboards. Yungblud’s music video captures captivating scenes, ranging from snowy landscapes to dramatic cliff edges, all while he performs the track passionately, echoing the song's themes of self-discovery and evolution.

Yungblud (real name Dominic Harrison) introduces "Hello Heaven, Hello" as the opening statement to his forthcoming album, calling it a mixture of reflection and anticipation for the future. “It’s a journey of self-reclamation, a goodbye to the past and how you may have known or perceived me before, and a hello to the future and where I’m going,” he explains. This ambitious track sets the tone for what he describes as an adventure that is sonically more ambitious than ever before, emphasizing that it should be experienced in its entirety.

In a landscape where conventional single lengths are often preferred, the artist remains undeterred by expectations. "I’ve been discouraged from releasing a nine-minute and six-second song as my first move back in a year because in a modern world it’s seen as a ‘risk,'" Yungblud states. "I don’t see it that way at all—I see it as an opportunity. In my opinion, risk is an artist’s greatest tool, putting everything on the line in pursuit of the best evolution and art you can create. Without risk, there is no innovation." His commitment to artistic experimentation and sincerity resonates throughout the piece.

The idea for "Hello Heaven, Hello" has been gestating for four years, originally conceived during Yungblud’s tour for his 2020 album, "Weird". Reflecting on his creative process, he recalls a time of uncertainty where he felt he was “falling into [his] own cliché.” It was during this reflection that he began to sculpt his next musical chapter, emphasizing the importance of leaving behind predictability in pursuit of something groundbreaking.

Alongside his new single, Yungblud has announced the return of his festival, Bludfest, which will take place on June 21, 2025, at Milton Keynes’s National Bowl. Last year's festival attracted a crowd of approximately 40,000 fans, and it featured a lineup of promising artists and established acts. This year, names like Chase Atlantic, blackbear, and Denzel Curry will join Yungblud on stage, offering fans a stellar experience at an accessible price.

As Bludfest approaches and anticipation builds around his upcoming album, Yungblud is eager to explore the creative depths of his artistry. “I feel like for the first time in a long time I’m exactly where I need to be and doing exactly what I’m supposed to be doing—making exactly what I want,” he reflects. In his mind, this new work feels magical, and he is eager to see where this creative journey will take him next. "Where the fuck are we gonna end up? Let’s see. Get on the horse. Let’s ride," he concludes, encapsulating his adventurous spirit and dedication to his craft.

With "Hello Heaven, Hello," Yungblud demonstrates both his evolution as an artist and a commitment to pushing boundaries in music. As fans eagerly await his new album, it’s clear that he’s not just returning to the industry—he’s redefining it, one daring move at a time.
