South Australia’s football community gathered at Parliament House on March 18, 2025, to celebrate the Adelaide United cohort of the Young Socceroos following their historic triumph at the AFC U20 Asian Cup™ China 2025. Premier Peter Malinauskas joined key football stakeholders including Football South Australia and Football Australia for the occasion, recognizing the players who brought home the prestigious title.

Premier Malinauskas emphasized the significance of the Young Socceroos’ success, stating, "This victory has inspired young South Australians and reinforced the state’s strong football culture." The Premier’s words resonate deeply, as this win marks Australia’s first U20 Asian Cup victory, highlighting the rising talent from the region.

Among the four standout players from Adelaide United—Panagiotis Kikianis, Jonny Yull, Fabian Talladira, and Luka Jovanović—CEO Nathan Kosmina expressed immense pride at the reception. He remarked, "This recognition is fitting for a group who have represented our Club, our State, and our Country with immense pride.
