In celebration of International Women’s Day, the 25th Women’s Film Night organized by SPD Women of Nürnberger Land took place in collaboration with the Katholischer Deutscher Frauenbund Stöckach-Forth. The event was a significant gathering highlighting women's achievements and struggles, bridging various organizations focused on gender equality.
Antje Bezold, the owner of the cinema, welcomed attendees including Claudia Hälter, chairwoman of the SPD Women of Nürnberger Land, and Bianka Lebküchler, chairwoman of the KDFB. Bezold expressed her delight in the collaboration among different women’s organizations to support this meaningful initiative.
The event featured a screening of the documentary film “Die Unbeugsamen 2 – Guten Morgen, ihr Schönen!” by filmmaker Torsten Körner. This film serves as a follow-up to the first installment, focusing not just on politicians from the Bonn Republic but also amplifying the voices of artists, actresses, and working women from the former German Democratic Republic (DDR).
