Snow and patchy snow will persist overnight into Friday, with temperatures dipping down to a low of 21 degrees. Winds will continue to gust up to 34 mph, making conditions feel even colder. Friday morning will see ongoing snow and patchy blowing snow, but the weather is expected to clear somewhat by early afternoon. The high on Friday is forecasted to be around 36 degrees, with gusts up to 30 mph likely.
Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday, April 19, 2025, will offer a reprieve with sunny and blustery conditions, a high of 45 degrees, and wind gusts around 21 mph. Easter Sunday, April 20, is expected to be sunny and breezy, with a high of 55 degrees, followed by a Monday that could see temperatures rise to 58 degrees along with mostly sunny skies.
The Wyoming Department of Transportation has reported that, as of April 16, conditions are dry and clear in and around Casper, with travel along Interstate-25 and Interstate-80 also being reported as clear throughout the state.
