WBJEE 2025 Answer Key Released For Candidates

Candidates can check the provisional answer key and raise objections until May 11.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the WBJEE Answer Key 2025 on May 9, 2025, providing candidates with an opportunity to review their performance on the recently conducted exam. The provisional answer key can be accessed on the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in until May 11, 2025.

The WBJEE 2025 was held on April 27, 2025, in two shifts: the first from 11 am to 1 pm for Paper 1, which focused on Mathematics, and the second from 2 pm to 4 pm for Paper 2, covering Physics and Chemistry. This year’s exam was conducted in offline mode at various designated test centers across West Bengal, accommodating thousands of engineering aspirants seeking admission to programs in engineering, technology, pharmacy, and architecture.

To access the provisional answer key, candidates must log in using their application number and password. The process to check the answer key is straightforward:

  • Visit the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in.

  • Click on the link for the WBJEE 2025 Provisional Answer Key on the homepage.

  • Enter the required login details and click submit.

  • The answer key will be displayed on the screen, which can then be downloaded for future reference.

In addition to the release of the answer key, WBJEEB has also opened the objection window, allowing candidates to challenge any discrepancies they may find in the provisional key. Candidates who wish to raise objections must do so before the deadline of May 11, 2025. For each challenge, a non-refundable processing fee of ₹500 is required, payable through various online methods such as net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI. It is important to note that if the payment is unsuccessful, the challenge will not be considered.

For those looking to challenge the answer key, the steps are as follows:

  • Navigate to the official website and click on the “Challenge Answer Key” link.

  • Log in using your credentials.

  • Select the questions you wish to challenge and provide any necessary supporting documentation.

  • Make the required payment and submit your challenge.

Once the objection window closes, WBJEEB will review all challenges submitted and release a final answer key. This final version will be binding, and candidates’ scores will be calculated based solely on it. No further appeals will be accepted after the final key is published.

The formula for calculating scores based on the answer key is as follows: Maximum Marks x Number of Correct Responses – (Negative Marking x Number of Incorrect Responses). This scoring system is designed to ensure that candidates receive fair and accurate results based on their performance.

While the WBJEEB has released the provisional answer key, the date for the official WBJEE 2025 results has not yet been announced. Candidates will be able to view their marks and ranks once the results are released, which will be available through the same official portal. Successful candidates will then be eligible to participate in the WBJEE 2025 counselling process.

For more information and updates regarding the WBJEE 2025, candidates are encouraged to regularly check the official website. With the answer key now available, students can assess their performance and prepare for the next steps in their academic journey.
