Viettel Showcases Innovative Technology At MWC 2025

The company presents 22 products highlighting Vietnam's tech advancements and global collaboration efforts.

Viettel Group, Vietnam's leading telecommunications company, shone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, held from March 3 to 6, 2025, in Barcelona, Spain. This year marks Viettel's eighth participation at the prestigious event, and it stands as the sole representative from Vietnam showcasing its technology to the world. The company's presentation of 22 innovative technology products, especially focused on 5G infrastructure, digital platforms, and applications, is hailed as its largest exhibit to date, surpassing the number of products shown last year by five.

The theme for this year's exhibit, "Technology Innovation for Sustainable Development," reflects Viettel's mission to address global issues through technological solutions. Lt. Gen. Tào Đức Thắng, Chairman and CEO of Viettel, stated, "At each MWC, Viettel introduces products and technological solutions with thousands of people and businesses around the world interested. This not only is our pride but also motivates us to continue innovatively creating new products and services."

Viettel's showcase was organized around three main groups: infrastructure, digital platforms, and digital applications. The products were carefully selected based on their novelty, economic impact, and social relevance across both Vietnam and its export markets. The infrastructure group featured impressive elements such as components of the 5G ecosystem, including 5G Private, 5G ORAN, and 5G Core, along with security-focused chips such as RF-SoC and 5W X-Band FEM, and digital replicas of telecom stations.

The digital platform offerings include API services derived from mobile networks, content distribution systems, new generation network security platforms, and smart traffic management systems. These platforms aim to facilitate data management efficiently and securely.

Meanwhile, the digital application group showcased practical tools such as virtual assistants, waiting videos via meCall, Mydio audiobooks, and TV360. Each product is geared toward enhancing user experience through increased access and personalized services.

This extensive portfolio not only signifies Viettel's commitment to technological advancement but also emphasizes the company's intent to perform on the global stage. The 2025 MWC serves as not just a showcase but also as a ground for forging significant business and technological cooperation agreements with prominent names including TikTok, Visa, China Telecom Global, Pegatron, Twilio, and SANY.

During the four-day conference, Viettel aims to not only promote its products but also seeks collaboration opportunities to expand its technology reach internationally. Lt. Gen. Tào Đức Thắng noted, "We aim to bring the best products developed by Vietnam to the world and collaborate to learn from the best technologies globally." Despite the global challenges, Viettel's attendance at MWC highlights Vietnam's growing influence and capability within the tech space.

Finally, by participating actively and engaging with various international partners, Viettel is not just presenting its offerings but is also learning from the vast innovations demonstrated by others. This dual purpose enriches their experience, allowing future applications of novel technologies back home and leading to potential future investments and technological exports to markets including India, the Philippines, and the United Arab Emirates.

With Viettel’s active presence at MWC 2025, it is clear the company is committed to advancing not only its position as a technology leader but also contributing to the global dialogue on technological innovation for sustainable development.
