The pre-tax profit of the company is expected to reach 1.342 trillion VND, exceeding the planned target by 35%. Notably, the company made significant contributions to the state budget, amounting to 905 billion VND.
Employee welfare was also highlighted, with Vo Thị Hà, President of the Trade Union, emphasizing the importance of adhering to labor contracts and labor regulations. The company ensured the maintenance of benefits, providing substantial financial support for employee activities and health insurance.
Turning to brand recognition, Forbes Vietnam unveiled its list of the top 25 leading listed brands of 2024, dominated by the banking sector. Vietcombank topped the list with a brand value of 891.4 million USD, reflecting the growth of state-owned banks and sustainable development within the sector.
Forbes emphasized the methodology used to value brands, considering the profitability derived from both tangible and intangible assets. Reflecting its success, Vietcombank also ranked fourth on the Vietnam 100 report by Brand Finance, underscoring its strong market position and customer trust.
Vietcombank's achievements over the past year included surpassing 1.5 billion USD in pre-tax profit. The bank received several prestigious awards, including recognition as the “Best Bank in Vietnam,” and it has committed over 2.4 trillion VND to social welfare projects over the last five years.
Meanwhile, Nestlé Vietnam was honored at the Human Act Prize 2024 for its contributions to sustainable farming practices through the NESCAFÉ Plan initiative. This program, recognized for its impact on the community, aims to improve the livelihoods of coffee farmers by promoting regenerative agriculture. Lê Quốc Minh, General Editor of Nhân Dân Newspaper, lauded the NESCAFÉ Plan for addressing the challenges faced by farmers and enhancing their earnings significantly.
With over 13 years of operation, the NESCAFÉ Plan has provided substantial training for farmers on sustainable practices. The program has involved 21,000 farmer households, improving their income by as much as 100%. Its focus on female empowerment within agriculture highlights its commitment to social issues.
